Unit Trust Evaluation in Light of Multiple-Criteria Decision Making

The target of this work is to evaluate the unit trusts in light of the multiple-criteria decision making. The unit trusts are divided into the groups according to the investor categories: unit trusts with conservative, balanced and aggressive portfolio. The unit trusts were lined up by the medium of the multiple-criteria decision making methods (PRIAM, ORESTE, MAPPAC) and it is also made an analysis why have each of the methods chosen the particular unit trust in the group as the best compromise variant.

Combination of simulation methods and methods of multicriterial decision while purchasing mobile tariffs by companies.

Because of the high penetration of private market, mobile operators are forced to focus on the services offered to another customer segment. Recently, corporate customers are seen as a promising segment and the competition within this segment is rising significantly. The growth of the competition and offer enhancement force companies to understand the decision making process in purchasing mobile services as much as possible. It is not only time consuming but also financially demanding for management even in small firms. This decision making process, that the companies go through, is the main topic of this Master Thesis. Main goal is neither to choose particular vendor of the mobile services nor to choose particular mobile tariff from the recent market offer but to inform about possibilities proposed by mathematical methods in the decision making area. In the Master Thesis different methods are suggested, compared and combined with the target to enable companies to make the right decision concerning their specific requirements.

The application of standard requirements for norm ISO series 9000 in the firm Servis elektro, Roudnice nad Labem

The aim of my thesis is prepare the firm Servis elektro, Roudnice nad Labem to introduce and certificate Quality management system according to norm ISO 9001. Since costs to get certification are for a small firm too high, I try to my thesis complete of information, by means of which I realize all of conditions for get grant from program Development for year 2009. In addition I will occupy with what kind of way is possible to get other financial resources of grant from program Development to certification according to norm ISO 9001. These possibilities I try to compare between them with morecriterionel variant evaluation. Purpose of whole thesis is achieving more competitive advantage of firm Servis elektro, which resides in Roudnice nad Labem.

Practical use of multiple criteria decision making methods to evaluate commercial chains, cheese category, in Czech Republic

The subject of diploma thesis is the evaluation of commercial chains, cheese category, in Czech Republic. The methodology is based on the multicriteria rating of alternatives. In the evaluation of commercial chains may take into account the large number of criteria are used, here are 26, which evaluates 14 alternatives (stores). To evaluate the commercial chains are used preferences of general public and experts. The main objective of the diploma thesis is to determine which store is the best for customers (general public) and for professionals, and then to compare the results.Secondary objective is to explore the possibility of using the multicriteria rating of alternatives methods in praxis.

Teoretická část shrnuje poznatky z reálných a finančních opcí a dále popisuje implementaci reálně opčního přístupu do investičního rozhodování. Aplikační část vyhodnocuje skutečný investiční projekt podle uvedené metodiky.

Nakupování se stalo běžnou součástí našich životů. Vše, co se děje v naší hlavě před tím, než vezmeme vybraný produkt z regálu, se dá přirovnat k černé schránce. Spotřebitele ovlivňují při nákupu fyzické, psychické, kulturní a sociální aspekty. Maloobchodník se snaží zákazníkovi nákup co nejvíce usnadnit a zpříjemnit. Aktivity, které zatraktivňují nákupní prostředí, se nazývají merchandising. Merchandising, který je přínosem pro zákazníka, maloobchodníka i výrobce resp. merchandisingovou agenturu, je cílem této práce.

Vícekriteriální rozhodování a jeho praktická aplikace

Bakalářská práce je rozdělena dvě části. První díl práce obsahuje teoretickou část zahrnující úvod do rozhodovacího procesu a deskripci vybraných metod rozhodování. Druhá, zvláštní část, pak obsahuje rozhodovací příklad z praxe, který je řešen pomocí vybraných rozhodovacích metod. Stanovená hypotéza, které je ověřena, resp. vyvrácena v závěru práce, je založena na předpokladu, že intuice, jakožto fundamentální nástroj rozhodování, není nejlepší metodou, resp. intuitivně přijaté rozhodnutí nemusí být optimální, oproti rozhodnutí přijatém na základě výsledků využití metod rozhodování.

Software tools for analysis of discrete problems of Decision theory

První kapitola je přehledem o softwaru pro řešení diskrétních rozhodovacích úloh. V dalších dvou kapitolách je podrobně popsán teoretický základ, který dále slouží jako návod pro návrh jednotlivých algoritmů a datového modelu. Předposlední kapitola je podrobná programová analýza, ze které je možné vycházet při vývoji v jakémkoliv prostředí. Obsahuje základní informace jaké metody by měly vzniknout, jaká vstupní data jsou pro jednotlivé metody nutná, a přehledný popis algoritmů. Poslední kapitola nejprve seznamuje s podnikovým informačním systémem Microsoft Bussines Solution ? Axapta, který slouží jako vývojové prostředí pro implementaci nového modulu ?Diskrétní úlohy?. Nový modul byl navržen tak, aby byl zcela nezávislý na funkcionalitě celého systému. Obsahuje dvanáct různých modelů vícekriteriálního hodnocení variant (Konjunktivní, Disjunktivní, Permutační, Lexikografická, ORESTE, WSA, TOPSIS, AGREPREF, ELECTRE I., třídu metod PROMETHEE a MAPPAC) a Bayesovskou analýzu pro řešení jednokriterálních rozhodovacích úloh při riziku.
