Production Process Analysis in Selected Enterprise
Sychrová, Jana ; Zatloukal, Petr (referee) ; Chvátalová, Zuzana (advisor)
Thesis „Production Process Analysis in Selected Enterprise” is focused on specific production processes especially their description, possible changes and subsequent evaluation of impact of changes. It includes theoretical bases for production processes, their improvements and investments to production processes. Moreover there are included methods of investment business evaluation and mathematical modeling. Selected company and specific selected process that theoretical methods are applied upon in Maple is in practical portion.
Analysis of Warehouse Inventory in the Company Dendera a.s.
Sychrová, Jana ; Hřebíček, Jiří (referee) ; Chvátalová, Zuzana (advisor)
This bachelor thesis "Analysis of Warehouse Inventory in the Company Dendera a.s." is focused on supplies of the company, especially on their composition and quantity. This thesis contains the theoretical bases of the supplies, their models and mainly the ABC method. The chosen company is presented in the practical part of the thesis and its storage supplies are analysed on the basis of the theoretical findings, with the ABC method and the creation of the model of supplies with the help of the Maple system.
Effect of mineral nutrient availability and flooding on the growth of Carex acuta in a mesocosm experiment
This MSc thesis is part of the project GACR 526/09/1545 Importance of newly assimilated carbon for the plant-soil interactions in wet grassland ecosystems in varying environmental conditions, which focuses on the effects of eutrophication on selected wet meadows with mineral or organic soil in the Trebon Biosphere Reserve. The results of this project will serve as a basis for developing a suitable ecosystem management for wet meadows, especially for sites registered as nature reserves. Pot experiments were carried out with Carex acuta, a dominant species of wet meadows that has already been subject of many studies. The aim of this work was to find out how C. acuta responds to different levels of fertilization and soil flooding under controlled conditions. The growth of the generative shoots of C. acuta was significantly affected by fertilization. The growth of vegetative shoots was significantly influenced by the soil organic matter content and fertilizer addition. The vegetative shoots reached greater length than the generative shoots. The pot experiment indicates that fertilization has not a large influence on the growth of C. acuta. This finding may explain field observations that C. acuta is gradually replaced in eutrophic habitats by stronger competitors, especially Phalaris arundinacea.
Adaptation of the orchid Macodes petola to shading
The orchid Macodes petola grows terrestrially on Sumatra, Java, in Malaysia and on Philippines on the floor of tropical rainforests. The orchid species demands great shadow. The work in focused on the adaptation of the orchid Macodes petola to shading. The aim of the work was to compare the growth rate of plants grown in controlled laboratory conditions at different irradiance. It was found out that Macodes petola is able to grow well at irradiance of 5 {$\mu$}mol.m-2.s-1 (270 lux), which means relative irradiance of 0,2 %.
