Pešková, Markéta ; Finger, Michael (advisor) ; Kupčo, Alexander (referee)
Title: Study of azimuthal asymmetries in COMPASS Drell-Yan data Author: Bc. Markéta Pešková Department / Institute: Department of Low Temperature Physics Supervisor of the master thesis: M.Sc. Michael Finger, CSc. Abstract: Drell-Yan (DY) process, i.e. a lepton pair production in hadron-hadron interaction, is one of the unique tools to study structure of hadrons. In this thesis we present its theoretical background and its link to description of the nucleon spin structure. The corresponding formalism of the Parton Distribution Functions (PDF) and the Transverse Momentum Dependent Parton Distribution Functions (TMD PDF) is explained in some detail. The fundamental theoretical prediction of a sign change of the T-odd TMDs in the DY and Semi- inclusive DIS (SIDIS) is described. In the following a concise description of the COMPASS apparatus is given with the emphasis on the setup modification needed and implemented for the Drell-Yan measurement performed in 2014 and 2015 with 190 GeV/c2 beam of negative pions and the proton target (polarised in 2015). In the final chapter we present our independent analysis of the DY data taken in 2015. Three azimuthal asymmetries giving access to the different TMD PDF were extracted using the dimuon events from a mass region of 4.3 to 8.5 GeV/c2 . Our results are in agreement...
Přínos zavedení modelu manažerského účetnictví pro SME zabývající se zemědělskou činností
Pešková, Markéta
The diploma thesis deals with creation of a model of managerial accounting in agriculture and evaluation of the benefits from it. The theoretical part deals with the essence and functions and describes the general procedures for creating the management accounting model. In the next part, the literary research deals with the specifics typical for agriculture and small and medium-sized agricultural holdings. The research of inhouse accounting in the agricultural enterprises follows the theoretical part for the practical. The practical part of the thesis is based on research and a suitable model for agricultural production. Within the application part, the model is verified on a typical production enterprise characteristic for the Olomouc Region. The suitability of the model is verified after the application together with the quantification of the potential costs. The benefits for the accounting unit and the general benefits are assessed as well.

Title: Studies of Drell-Yan process with polarized target at COMPASS Author: Markéta Pešková Department / Institute: Department of Low Temperature Physics Supervisor of the bachelor thesis: M.Sc. Michael Finger, CSc. Abstract: The presented thesis intends to give an introduction into the studies of the spin structure of a nucleon. The knowledge about the structure of nucleon has grown in the last few decades; however, its spin structure is still a mystery. One of the concepts that might help solving this spin puzzle is the polarized Drell-Yan process. This process can give us the access to the spin-dependent structure functions of a nucleon via measuring spin asymmetries. In the following text, an outline of the theoretical background of the semi- inclusive Deep Inelastic Scattering and the Drell-Yan is given. The Parton Distribution Functions (PDFs) and the transverse-momentum-dependent PDFs (TMDs) are discussed. And the way of accessing the TMDs via polarized Drell-Yan process is briefly described. This is the goal of the Drell-Yan program at COMPASS experiment, using the transversely polarized target and pion beam in 2014-15. The description of experimental apparatus is given and the system of collecting and processing data is outlined. The data-taking conditions of the 2009 DY beam test and the 2014 DY...
Volunteer Motivation to Quality Work in Profit and Non-profit Organisations. Analysis and Comparation of Organizations and Volunteers.
Pešková, Markéta ; Tollarová, Blanka (advisor) ; Štverka Kořínková, Ivana (referee)
5 Abstract The dissertation thesis occupy by defining of volunteering characteristics. There are some questions about what the volunteering should be and what shouldn't be, what is volunteering motivation and what is volunteering background in Czech Republic. Afterwards it is occupy by of volunteering management for purposes of quality management, specifically in recruitment, education, audit and evaluation, risk management or quality standard defining. There is a research of managers and volunteers from profit and non-profit organisations about their access to volunteering and to each other. Afterwards there is an analysis of interviews and their evaluation. The conclusion contain some description of new phenomenon of volunteering in Czech environment and there is also evaluation of its' practical impact.
The business plan of the accomodation facitity for families with children
PEŠKOVÁ, Markéta
The main intention of this thesis is to make a complete documentation of a business plan for the accommodation facility focused on segment of the families with children. The secondary objectives include analysing market conditions in selected area, finding the needs and requirements of potential customers, finding possible support suitable for the accommodation facility and determine whether the proposed accommodation facility is able to succeed on present tourism market. The thesis has two parts. The theoretic part includes literate review focused on tourism, accommodation services, accommodation facilities, families with children, business plan and its parts. The practical part is made up by a proposal for a particular business plan for families with children.
Business plan of a boarding house of a period in Prague
PEŠKOVÁ, Markéta
The main intention of this thesis is to make a complete documentation of a business plan for accommodation facilities according to current trends. Minor goals are to analyse market conditions in the chosen region, find out current trends in the hotel industry and find support for businessmen while providing services in tourism. The thesis has two parts. The theoretic part defines terms such as tourism, services, services in tourism, accommodation services, accommodation facilities and business plan. The practical part includes a proposal for a particular business plan.
