Specifics of Translating Biblical Texts into Czech Sign Language

The bachelor thesis is concerned with the principles of translation of biblical texts into Czech Sign Language. The theoretical part of the thesis discusses Bible translation in general, and more specifically, in relation to sign language translation. It summarises existing findings from studies on foreign translations of biblical texts into sign languages, such as American Sign Language, Japanese Sign Language, Sign Language Lesco. The practical part provides an analysis of the Dictionary of Signs for Christian Concepts for Deaf People and two video translations of passages from New Testament into Czech Sign Language, making recommendations for updates to the Dictionary based on these findings. The thesis then brings together the theoretical knowledge and the present findings and proposes a set of principles and mandatory guidelines for translation of biblical texts into Czech Sign Language. Children's strength development possibilities

Title: Children's strenght development possibilities Objective: The main goal of diploma thesis is to compare level of strenght abilities between classes with children :from common population and classes with extended lessons ofphysical education Methods: Tested sample was constisted of two groups of boys both :from common classes and classes with extended lessons ofphysical education. Both groups were tested by chosen test batery. Results were analyzed by standard methods. Statistically significant differencies of motoric tests between these groups had been searched through statistics programme CNSS 6.0. As statistical method ofresults comparison was used analysis MANOVA. Results: Statistically significant differencies in all motiric tests were noted in age categories of twelve-year old, fourteen-year old and fifteen-year old boys. Statistically non-significant difference was noted in age category of thirteen-year old boys. It was also confirmed that regular motoric programme influences strenght abilities in this age period at minimum. Key words: Strenght abilities, children, motoric tests, MANOVA analysis 8
