Park and Ride System (P+R) in Prague
Fenclová, Veronika ; Vondráčková, Petra (advisor) ; Chmelík, Jakub (referee)
The thesis concerns the traffic in Prague. It targets the potentialities of short-term parking on the city outskirts, on metro and train stations, and summarizes the conditions for people who combine personal and public transport in their commuting. The central part of the thesis focuses on the park and ride (P+R) scheme, and their location and availability. The bike and ride (B+R) and kiss and ride (K+R) systems are regarded as well. A questionnaire, carried out with respondents who regularly commute to Prague for employment or education, is evaluated. It comes out clearly that awareness of parking possibilities on the outskirts of Prague is low. And even if a respondent is aware of the possibilities, then the system is usually not used, for reasons that are summarized in the evaluation of the questionnaire. The goal of the thesis is to inform about P+R system and to highlight its shortcomings, which have been either deduced from the questionnaire or derived from P+R usage data. Keywords: system P+R, parking, commuting by car, Prague

The aim of this master thesis is to analyze and look for ways out of present debt crisis which the states of euro zone are in. I am exploring these issues on the two countries, which have accepted the euro as their currency. European Union (or more precisely euro zone) has had problems for almost the whole of decade, which are now threatening its being. The basic causes are mainly the lack of structural assumptions of single European economies. The practical part of the master thesis is dealing with comparison of financial assistance, which was provided to Greece and Ireland from EU and IMF. It is evaluating the effectiveness of such help with regard to current economic situation and outlook. The thesis is comparing both of these countries from their entry to European Community and it is assessing fulfillment of Maastricht criteria. It is exploring economic and political situation of both countries and is dealing with the period after the global financial crisis, which has revealed long-term and unresolved problems if selected states of European Union.

Fenclová, Veronika ; Dočkal, Dalibor (advisor) ; Urban, Luděk (referee)
In my bachelor thesis I deal with comparison of Czech and Swedish tax system. The tax system of Sweden is ranked among successful tax systems of the world and is different from the Czech one that is why I have chosen this system for comparison. The aim of this thesis is to refer to differences between these systems and assess the impacts of the tax systems from the perspective of public finances. The thesis is divided into 3 chapters. In the first one I deal with tax theory to understand the problem. The second chapter is about Czech tax system and in the final chapter the description of Swedish tax system a comparison with Czech system is situated. Some recommendations are mentioned too.
