Software solution of documentation of buried cables

The content of this work is focused on the production of software solution of documentation and on the work procedure leading to the production of software documentation for telecommunication network and mostly for its optical part. As the production of metallic and optical part is from the global point of view the same, only a change of attributes will take place because of the different characteristics of both media. The basis of every computer documentation is software, that is why we need to pay special attention to its choice and we should firstly make a list of requirements, which should the software fulfil. The essential requirement is the connection of database and graphical parts of the documentation. Once we have chosen the software with the requested requirements, we can approach the proposal itself. For the maximal accuracy of the input data we use only geodetically focused data. For the production of a database work is crucial the cooperation of all the users so that every future user has for him necessary data at his disposal. All the theoretical approaches are examined in the last part of this work on the project produced for a company SELF servis which requires the production of software documentation of its network. Documentation is based on the software ArcGIS, which is not aimed directly at the telecommunication purposes, but which enables the connection of graphical and database data and fulfils all the requirements made by SELF servis company. Among these requirements belong the possibility of usage of different types of bottom maps, the possibility of connection of database with the external SQL database and also restrictions to data access.

Proposal of the digitization of analog mammography centers

1 Abstract The aim of this bachelor thesis is to propose digitalization of an analog mammographic center, its technical realization in its entirety including implementation, to compare digital and analog mammography and to evaluate its economic costs in a private senological center accredited by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic for breast screening. The economic return is expected to be in 15 000 examinations per year. From the calculations of annual costs and revenues the expected net profit of the mammographic center is 1 497 600 CZK. After 8 years of device-service the profit is 11 980 800 Kč. The fundamental lack of digital mammography is its price which is in comparison with the analog mammography much higher. This is an obstacle to current centers. Quality and rapid diagnostics of asymptomatic women with the elimination of false negative findings speak for digitizing the mammographic screening centers. In the future we can expect an extension of digital mammographs. Bohemia Jesuitica in Indiis Occidentalibus. Latin correspondence of Bohemian Jesuits from America, Philippines and Mariana Islands in Bohemian and Moravian archives. Critical edition

The aim of this dissertation thesis is to provide first critical edition of Latin correspondence written by the missionaries from Bohemian Province of Society of Jesus, who were destinated to Indiae Occidentales (Northern and Southern Americas, Philippines and Mariana Islands). This edition contains all the documents, according to present-day knowledge, preserved in the archives in Czech Republic. These are 114 letters and one collection of excerpta. 28 of them are autographs, the rest are copies. Nearly fourth part of this corpus is represented by letters of Paulus Klein, eighth part by letters of Augustinus Strobach, the remaining part was written by 25 other Jesuit missionaries. The correspondence comes from the years 1657-1741. Most of these letters describe the journey of missionaries from Bohemia to their mission destination, many of letters originate from the period of waiting for West Indies Fleet in Spain. Smaller part describes the reality in oversea mission, above all its early period. The edition is sorted to 27 blocks according to the authors, the letters within these blocks are ordered chronologically. All the letters are provided with regesta in Czech language.
