Elements of Addiction: Factors of Success in Treatment for Drug Addict from Bio-Psychosocial-Spiritual Point of View
Král, Petr ; Sivek, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Libra, Jiří (referee)
The whole work tries to elaborate the theme of addiction on addictive substances in focus on bio- psychosocial-spiritual part of the whole problem. Human personality has the deep based predisposition to be addictive and it has a complete potential to become addictive in all ways. The occasions of this addiction are able to be found in all domains of human being, beginning with physiognomy and ending with spirituality. The reasons why the subject becomes addictive or eventually only tries the addictive substances are able to be found in looking for transcendent experience, sense of existence, in escaping from problems, pain or killing the bore or solitude. If the human becomes addictive he starts an inescapable way leading straight to total destruction of personality in all its qualities. Spiritual part of personality, the self-awareness, the unity and the normal values are damaged by the addiction and the human is moving himself to his own animalism oriented to acquiring substances. The way back devoid of sleeks of nonsensicality is not easy but possibly to be found. The most of addictives go through the resocialization centers on their ways and so these centers could play a key role in changing the life and abstinence. This work tries to describe these factors, which the whole cure should imply. And...

Considering about Abortion in the Area of Pastoral Work
Samiec, Jakub ; Jandejsek, Petr (advisor) ; Sivek, Vojtěch (referee)
The topic of abortion I chose because this can correspond with other problems, which can cause, that the client find out the pastoral worker. I think, that except the graduated specialist, among the pastoral worker, there is not so high level of awareness how to proceed the meeting with the client, who actually solve the problem of abortion. As the target of my work I marked out to write the well-arranged tool, which can succesfuly use not only the pastoral workers. By examining this topic I tried to anylyse available sources and from them set the simple and clear abstract, what, because of the wide of this topic, was not simple job. I also communicated with the specialits, that regulary work with the client, which are solving the problem of abortion. Because of that for lot of them is going about very private topic and information about client can't be passed in full width, the acquirement of many outputs of our communication was often difficult. But I mind that this compilation can be helpful for many pastoral workers, gives the elementary self-contained information about topic of abortion and as contains actual contacts, they can simplier find the help of specialist for clients in need. Ergotherapy for People with HIV Dementia
Trávníčková, Vlasta ; Sivek, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Janečková, Hana (referee)
HIV/AIDS is a global threat with no cure. Millions of victims suffer from this illness without a possibility to be treated properly. Mildmay hospital in north east London specializes in care and rehabilitation for those who have this illness and live in the UK. It has a unique rehabilitation programme for those with HIV related brain impairment (HRBI). HRBI is part of a disease process. One part of the whole rehabilitation programme is an occupational therapy, which aims to improve patients' activities of daily living and enjoy their lives in its fullness. Multidisciplinary approach allows assessing the rehabilitation and care needs for each person. The result is an individually tailored and structured rehabilitation programme. Patient meets those interdisciplinary members that are most appropriate for his/ her particular needs. It is depended on the stage of the illness but if the rehabilitation is combined with the Highly Active Antiretroviral Therapy (HAART) there usually is a success. After the four week assessment period a discharge planning starts. Patients usually return back into their communities or they go into residential or nursing home care. Contemporary situation at Helplines in Prague
Ročovská, Silvie ; Sivek, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Hálková, Petra (referee)
Crisis is a part of our lives. There are situations that we are not able to solve only by our power, so we need an expert assistance. The most approachable form of help is telephone crisis intervention (TCI). The TCI is focused on stabilisation of acute state. I dealed with four organizations of telephone hotlines - for children, general and elderly population and hotline for victims of houshold violation. I described their work. Their help is immediate, available, anonymous for both participants, financial inexpensive. All the clients need in situations of crises is safeness and acceptance. Acording to the new law of social services, the workers of crisis hotlines have to improve their education in area of telephone crisis intervention. The organizations which deal with TCI often encounter problems with repeated calling of certain clients. These clients demand attention of hotlines workers because of compensation of missing relationship. The staff should provide other services and motivate clients into real relationships in their lives. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

SelfHinflicting is intentional harming, hurting and injuring one ́s own body without clear intention to die. The most common method is cutting wrist, forearm and burning oneself. Motivation can be facing up to some sudden hard situation, without repeating this behaviour or recurrence and even addiction on this selfHinflicting. In danger are mostly adolescents who are evolving and capturing experience in solving hard situations. The need of love, relationships and safety are relating to this. They often experience the disilussion in these areas. The research proved that selfHinflicting is in the adolescent group known phenomenon and some of them have their own experience or practise it regularly. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
