Software for retinal image processing
Magula, Filip ; Fiala, Jiří (referee) ; Kolář, Radim (advisor)
This thesis deals with practical solutions of software for retinal images digital processing. The theoretic part describes human eye and retinal anatomy and also glaucoma disease. It is also focused on description of method for retinal nerve fiber layer enhancement and analysis. These enhancement are then used for designing of automated image processing. One chapter is devoted to detection and analysis of retinal nerve fibers layer. The practical part includes the user manual for application Image Blockz, which was established within this thesis. Further practical part contains the programmer's manual describing the basic structure of the program and its possible extensions.

Facilities of Civil Protection for Decontamination of Persons
Fiala, Jiří ; Doležel, Ludvík (referee) ; Svoboda, Bohuslav (advisor)
The risk of leakage of dangerous chemicals, or their misuse against the civilian population is very high in modern times. Even a small group of people can create(be) a threat to a large population. The solution is in properly training, solutions and implementation of projects in the field of population protection to cope with any emergency situation,so including the right solution for mass decontamination of people in CBRN events.

Properties of concrete with cement matrix at high temperatures
Fiala, Jiří ; Dvořák, Karel (referee) ; Bodnárová, Lenka (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the behaviour of the cement concrete at high temperatures depending on the aggregate and cement type. The theoretical part describes the processes in the concrete structure at high temperatures affecting the individual concrete components. The design of concrete structure with basalt aggregate and four types of cement in the experimental part was carried out. The proof of physical-mechanical properties after thermal load was reviewed, particularly change of density, compressive strength and tensile strength in bending. The X-ray diffraction analysis was carried out with prepared test samples.

Asymetric information and a contract theory
Fiala, Jiří ; Tříska, Dušan (advisor) ; Bartoň, Petr (referee)
This diploma thesis discusses the problem of asymmetrically distributed information between economic agents who interact with each other. It describes the historical development of asymmetric information in economic theory. It mainly focuses on possible emergence of inefficiencies due to asymmetrically distributed information. It describes the model of adverse selection. The thesis also points out how it is possible to apply this model of adverse selection together with knowledge of contract theory to partly overcome these inefficiencies. The aim of the study is to show on concrete examples how to design optimal contract and how these optimal contract can minimize the impact of asymmetric information on economic efficiency.
