Bakalářská práce shrnuje formou literární rešerše všeobecné informace o potravních preferencích sobů (Rangifer spp.) ve volné přírodě porovnané s doporučením pro chov těchto zvířat v lidské péči, včetně informací o možných zdravotních problémech souvisejících s jejich nesprávným krmením. Navazujícím tématem je seznámení s rodem Rangifer (respektive druhem Rangifer tarandus) z hlediska taxonomického zařazení, fyziologie trávení, potravních typů dle Hofmanna (1989), výživy, stavu populace vyskytující se ve volné přírodě a stupně ohrožení sobů v jejich přirozených podmínkách. Bachelor thesis is summarizing general information about the reindeers preferred nutrient in the wild compared with a recommendation for breeding these animals in the captivity, including the information about potential health problems associated with their unsuitable feeding. Consequential theme is familiarization with the genus Rangifer (or rather with species Rangifer tarandus), from the point of view taxonomic classification, digestive system, nutrient types according to Hofmann (1989), status of populations in the nature, and threat levels in their natural conditions.
