Production of the "Cover" component

The thesis proposes the production design of a cover component used as a ventilator cover of a water pump. In compliance with the studied literature, the cover will be made from polypropylene using the injection moulding technology. Based on the technological calculations, it puts forward a complete double mould with a cold inlet. The design solution was verified by simulations of filling and cooling, and a suitable injection machine was selected as per the calculated parameters. Finally the thesis explores the possibility for defects and presents the technical-economic evaluation for the entire production.
Proposal for the production of a two-component molding

The thesis deals with the design of a technology for the production of two-component parts that are placed in the car body for the purpose of subsequent expansion, which results in sealing and soundproofing. The technology chosen for the production is plastic injection moulding. The components are made from PA66 and Teroson EV 6059 with a production run of 200 000 units. Before the actual design of the tool, the components were checked for manufacturability. An injection mould of frame concept with a multiplicity of 1+1 was designed for the production. Engel VC 1640/400, which has two injection units and a clamping force of 4000kN, was determined as a suitable machine based on calculations. On the basis of an economic evaluation, it was concluded that the price for one set of three left and three right parts is 22.9 CZK
Design of production technology of the Cover

The thesis deals with the design of the production technology of the cap, the volume of which is 700 pieces, for use in low-voltage and high-voltage equipment, including switchboards, for the production of semi-crystalline plastic polyamide 6. The component will be injection moulded into a single layer mould, which will be composed of purchased normals from Meusburger. A KraussMaffei 110-380CX machine will be used for production, which will exert a clamping force of up to 1100kN. The economic evaluation showed that for the specified production run of 700 units, the cost of the part is 479,85 CZK, the price of one piece without the initial investment in the mould and without any depreciation is over 11 CZK.
Production of the Cartridge for stepper motor

The work deals with the production of the cartridge for stepper motor from the newly selected material polyamide PA66GF which contains 30% fiberglass. The change requires the choice of a new production technology, which is injection molding. For technological reasons, it was necessary to modify the 3D model of the part according to the chosen production method. After calculating the important technological parameters, the plastic injection mold was constructed. It is made as a quadruple with a hot runner system and a cold sub-distribution, the plastic injection mold also contains sliders for side actions. The Allrounder 420 C GOLDEN EDITION hydraulic injection molding machine with a clamping force of 1000 kN was chosen for the mold. At the end, a technical-economic evaluation and comparison of the costs for the production of one part is carried out. The necessary drawing documentation was also made for the work.
A proposal of insert production technology for an injection mold

This bachelor thesis is focused on the design of technology for the production of a removable insert into an injection mould. The main aim of the thesis is to elaborate the technological process of production of this component. In the introduction part of the thesis a research of technologies of production of injection moulds is carried out. The work also includes a description of the mold parts and their functions. Furthermore, the basic properties of the materials which are most commonly used for the production of inserts are described. The work is focused on the identification of mould defects in production and their possible causes. The thesis also describes the manufacturing technologies for the production of moulds.The practical part focuses on the design of a new pattern of replaceable component, the selection of tools, machines and gauges for the production of a new design of replaceable insert. A detailed assessment of the available options and the selected optimal production variants to achieve the quality and accuracy of the product is made. On the result of the proposed technical requirements, a technological procedure for the production of the insert to the injection mould. This process includes a precise description of the individual manufacturing operations, including material selection, drawing documentation, selection of gauges and tools, and programming of tool trajectories. Using these toolpaths, the production time for the selected machines was determined. The found results are compared with the production time of the same inserts of other designs and the possibilities of rationalizing the production process to achieve maximum production efficiency are discussed.
Design of injection moulding production

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to acquaint the reader with the process of production of plastic parts using injection moulding. Emphasis is placed on understanding the order as a whole, or what needs to be considered before and after the production of the plastic parts. The production takes place in the company Josef Škrkoň – Techplast a.s. First, the theoretical model is analyzed in the auxiliary software SolidWorks and CadMold. From the collected data a mould is created, which is fixed to the injection moulding press. The chamber with a screw, which is a part of the injection moulding press, is also described in the work, including the basic phases of the injection cycles that take place in the chamber. Measurement of the main qualitative parameter of the coupling strap was carried out using blast tests. In the last chapter of the bachelor thesis there is a technical-economic evaluation, where the approximate price costs for the production of the coupling strap are analyzed. More precisely, these are the costs of the production of tools, the costs of the production material and the production of the connection strip itself are analyzed. The time demands are given indicatively. Finally, the bachelor thesis is supplemented by analyzing the transport between the production company and the customer.
A proposal of block production technology for an injection mold

The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to search the selected issue, the choice of tool and machinery, design of block production technology, processing of the technological process and production drawing. The first part is a brief introduction to polymeric materials and their distribution. Technologies for plastics processing are also described here, especially with a focus on injection molding technology and the associated injection mold and injection molding machine. In the second part, tool and machinery equipment, selected block material and design of production technology are designed. Part of the thesis is also a production drawing and technological process.
Manufacture of AC / DC adapter housing

The bachelor's thesis proposes an injection mold for the production of a plastic adapter. Based on the evaluation of the technological possibilities of the production of a plastic product, the technology of plastic injection was chosen. The first part of the work is devoted to a theoretical explanation of plastic materials, injection molds and machines. The practical part presents and develops a complete design of the injection mold, including the selection of a suitable material. The mold is designed four times with a cold inlet insert. At the end of the work is a technical - economic evaluation of production.
Manufacture of connector cover

The work presents a proposal for the production of the connector cover by injection molding from amorphous ABS polymer. Based on a literature study of injection technology and calculations, a two-part injection mold with four cavities, equipped with side sliding trolleys, was designed. The mold is composed of standardized components, some of which are modified. An Intec D100 / 380-B injection molding machine was chosen. The work is accompanied by drawing documentation of the assembly of the mold, molding plates and the designed side sliding trolleys.

This bachelor thesis is focused on technology of injection moulding of plastics. Thesis is divided into five parts. The first part describes composition of plastic, basic distribution, thermal properties and technology of preparatory processing of plastic. The second part summarizes plastics processing technologies and essential introduction of forming, shaping and additional technologies. The third part is about principle of injection moulding technology and the injection moulding cycle, substantial part of this chapter deals with an impact of injection moulding cycle on a quality of the product. Special injection moulding methods are also mentioned. The next part includes injection moulding machine, injection unit and clamping unit, injection mould. The last part involves economic evaluation of product made by injection moulding.
