The importace of the Hildprandt von Ottenhausen Family for Blatná region

The aim of this thesis is to point out the various contributions (cultural, economic, political, entrepreneurial, etc.) of the aristocratic family Hildprandt von Ottenhausen for Blatná region. At the begining, various views on the determination of the Blatná reigon are compared. The history of the family line is also reviewed. Most attention is given to the activites of the Hildprandt family which were beneficial for the Blatná region. Hildprandts von Ottenhausen contributed to the development of the Blatná castle, they also remade the adjacent forest to a park. Thanks to them, industrial activities (sugar industry, distilling industry or beer industry) flourished in this region and many people became employed in these companies or on the farm owned by the Hildprandts. Many prominent persons visited Blatná, as guests of the noble family, amongst these persons was Franz Ferdinand d'Este, heir to the Austrian monarchy, or an indian maharaja. Hildprandts employed some of the Czech patriots (Jan Evangelista Purkyně a Antonín Jaroslav Vrťátko), those patriots taught next generations of the family love for their country. Blatensko - místní region ve výuce na 2. stupni ZŠ

The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the characteristics of the local region and its position in educational programs. The practical part deals with the knowledge acquired on the basis of empirical research. It summarizes the findings on ways of teaching in primary schools and high school and results that students achieved in the Knowledge-questionnaire. On the basis of this investigation suggest your own design concept of teaching Blatensko, based on the current Framework Educational Programme for Primary Education.

Analisis of historical landscape of Blatná hill-country from cartographic sources and archaeological sources

Gratuation theses: Analisis of historical landscape of Blatná hill-country from cartographic sources and archaeological sources view is focused on analysis of historical landscape Blatná hill-country, mainly from view of landscape archaeology and historical cartography. Blatná region has been often the target of local archaeologists in past and therefore by current archaelogical discoveries we can easily describe the development of settlement, on which basic we can establish historical seat zones. As a main source of knowledge were used (beside present archaeological discoveries) old maps, which helped in detail study of development of landscape for last cca 170 years. Comparison between maps from different time sections was made in geographic information system. There were each maps analised and they came throuth other processes. Identification of each region was completed by surface collections, which were took near ?Hradišťský creek?. The target of these collections was: completion of present archaeological discoveries and also to add new localities.

Tourism and recreation in area of Blatensko

A goal of this bachelorship work was to classify todays tourism at chosen destination of Blatensko. In framework of the work was primary discovering structure of prepositions of tourism at chosen destination by using primary data and literature. Primary data were gained by forms of three chosen localities. Attention was also focused toward the visitors of Blatensko. It was classified perception of destination by a visitor, activities in framework of vacation, motivation for visiting ETC. Further in framework of the work was created database of cultural-historical, natural and living attractions. Based on evaluated offer and demands of tourism at chosen location were created potential options of another development of tourism at Blatensko.

Assumptions for Development of Tourism in the Area of Blatná

Cílem bakalářské práce bylo prostřednictvím analýzy cestovního ruchu v oblasti Blatensko odhalit skrytý potenciál cestovního ruchu a vytvořit nový produkt cestovního ruchu pro vybraný segment návštěvníků. Nejprve byla nastudována odborná literatura a vypracována literární rešerše. Poté se vypracovala situační analýza, proběhlo terénní šetření a byly zpracovány návrhy a opatření. Na základě výsledků terénního šetření byl navrhnuty dva nové produkty.
