Uncovering of rootkits and detection of spyware

Bachelor’s thesis is about uncovering of rootkit and detection of spyware. It describes the basic types of known spyware and rootkits. Section dealing with spyware is especially about a description of each species. In case of rootkit the thesis is mainly about description of modes and the manner of their infection. There are also outlined attempts to use legal rootkit. In other case there are summarized the basic methods of rootkit and spyware detection, which are commonly used in various detection programs. The second part of thesis is practical implementation (the program) of one of the methods of spyware detection. The program is designed to be able to detect a simple pattern of spyware, which is stored in its database. The program uses the file signature detection. It contains also the graphical user interface, where is possible to choose a unit that user want to test.
Malware, internet threat - types and protection

This bachelor thesis deals the world malware and what this word means. The theoretical part describes the particular division of malware, its history and development from the 70s to the present. Other chapters include targets of hackers, why malware exists and what is the motivation of its authors. Conclusion of the theoretical part describes other threats which are on the Internet. The practical part includes two explorations. The first is dedicated to antivirus, it represents the most frequently used programs, their functionality and user interface. Test of infected file demonstrates the functionality and level of security. Final summary assists users in selecting the appropriate antivirus for their computer. The second is realized as a questionnaire which determines the awareness of the general public about the danger of malware and defence against it. The conclusion evaluate results of explorations of the practical part, it compares targets of this bachelor thesis and monitors their achievement or provides information about extension of explorations.
Online Banking and Consumers

The main aim of this thesis was to evaluate the use of Internet banking accounts among consumers. Investigate the pros and cons. Based on the analysis and data collection through online polling to assess and propose possible measures to improve services in internet banking. After studying the solved problems from expert resources, I set the main goals of this work and define hypotheses práce.K secondary data, I concluded the studies referred to literary resources and professional studies. Primary data were obtained šetřením.Výzkumné own experimental investigation of the main research was conducted via online interviews via the Internet and personal inquiries at the branch bank CSOB. The main research I conducted follow-up questions, interviewees were asked only at the branch of CSOB Czech Budejovice. A summary of results, I worked in tables and graphs and to evaluate the current situation in the field. Based on the data I provided any general recommendations for banks and concrete recommendations for a branch of CSOB Lannova 3 / 11 in the Czech Budejovice. Important recommendations for the Czech branch of CSOB Budejovice was economically evaluated against implementation. I completed my work, and finally appreciation. In which I have summarized the data obtained and the problems of internet banking, which I showed attachments.
