The analysis of various expressive means, which form the speech portrait of the speaker and his image as a whole, is made. Methods: The work used methods of descriptive, stylistic and contextual analysis. Results: In the course of the study was confirmed that the use of special means of expression and stylistic devices not only contributes to the pragmatic impact of the speaker on the audience, but also helps in building the image of a public person.
