Crossroad Hlavní třída a Slezská street in Frýdek-Místek - study

The subject of this diploma thesis is variant design of adaptation of T- intersection to crossroad at Frýdek-Místek. At first, there was made traffic forecast of generated traffic from regional planning. After that, there were made traffic forecast from relocation of road II/477. Then for every traffic forecast there were made two more variants of designs. The first variant is designed by one lane roundabout and signal-controlled intersection with signal timing plan. The second and the third variant are designed by turbo roundabout and signal-controlled intersection with signal timing plan. All variants have their own capacity analysis.

Crossroad II/513, III/1319 a III/1320 - Study, SK

The subject of this bachelor thesis is study of existing staggered intersection on road II/513 and III/1319 and III/1320 before enter to Hlohovec from highway D1. City is located in Trnava region about 20 km east from Trnava. Existing situation in traffic analysys was evaluated as insufficient, which was main reason to choose that intersection to study. Main problem are minor roads, that due to high intensity on major road aren´t sufficient for left turning vehicles. Three variants were designed, that are making situation on this intersection better and choosen one which is most suitable. Part of design is adjustment of nearby communicatons as well as bus stops and sidewalks in the area.
