The master’s thesis deals with the assessment of the financial performance of the company using statistical methods. The theoretical part describes the issues necessary for the practical part, financial indicators, time series, regression analysis and correlation analysis. In the practical part of the work is a calculation of selected financial indicators, then statistical methods are used to predict future developments and to detect dependencies between the indexes. The last section contains suggestions for improving the current situation.

The teoretical part describes the required problems of time series, regresssion analysis and financial analysis. The aim of this work is the assessment of the caompany condition using the selected financial indicators, prognoses of their development and suggestions for improvement problematic area of the company. This thesis contains suggestions of changes in area of the costs, company funding and attitude to the purchasers. The assment of the company condition is part of this thesis.

Preliminary development of the company necessary for defining strategies and plans in the future will then be predicted with the help of specific financial indicators which will be processed in time series analysis.

This bachelor's thesis is focused on comapany´s analysis of financial efficiency using time series, regression analysis and assessment of economic indicators. The thesis is divided into three parts. There is describtion of time series, regression analysis and chosen economic indicators in the theoretical part. In the practical part are created time series of calculated indexes in the given periods and compiled forecasts of future development. There are suggestions for improvement to increase business performance in the last section of thesis.

This bachelor‘s thesis evaluates the financial situation of the company Bučovice Tools, a.s. and makes suggestions for its improvement. The selected economic indicators for the period 2008-2013 are evaluated using statistical methods, based on the theoretical part of the thesis. Possible further development of these indicators is predicted using regression analysis. The important part of the thesis are proposals for improvement of economy of the company based on the findings of the analysis. Programs for calculation of selected indicators of financial analysis, characterictics of time series and regression analysis are other outputs of the bachelor’s thesis.

The master’s thesis deals with the evaluation of financial efficiency of the company Bučovice Tools, a.s. using statistical methods. The theoretical part describes financial analysis, time series analysis, regression analysis and correlation analysis. In the practical part, the selected indicators of financial analysis are subjected to statistical analysis to detect dependence between indicators and to determine the prediction of the future development. Based on the financial results, the company is compared with a chosen company and with average indicators of the industry and are designed possibilities to improve the economic situation.
