Fire protection units predetermined for traffic accidents and coverage of the territory of the body department Fire and Rescue South Bohemia Region Český Krumlov.
KOMŽÁK, Tomáš
In my bachelor thesis I focus on the fire protection units that are predestined for traffic accidents and their coverage on the territory of the territorial department of the South Bohemian Region Fire Rescue Corps Český Krumlov. The focus of the thesis is on the area coverage of fire protection units designated for traffic accidents, their equipment and arrival time. In the theoretical part I have presented the distribution of fire protection units on the territory of the Czech Republic, where the types and categories of units are described. The distribution of units is important in terms of area coverage. This topic is also described in the thesis and the parameters that determine the area coverage are given. As the thesis is focused on fire protection units predetermined for traffic accidents, the following chapters of this thesis are oriented on the predetermination of fire protection units in road traffic accidents. The type of predetermination is discussed along with the designation. The distribution of the type of roads in the Czech Republic cannot be omitted. Last but not least, the standards of knowledge in which a member, officer or employee of a fire protection unit is to be oriented and apply in the event of an emergency are given. The last chapter of the theoretical part is devoted to the description of the distribution of fire protection units in Upper Austria and the area coverage in their territory. The types of fire protection units are similar to those in the Czech Republic. The difference occurs in the area coverage, where the territory is divided into classes, which subsequently determine the equipment and the number of members of the unit. The evaluation is chosen in the form of a questionnaire survey of pre-designated fire protection units for traffic accidents from the Český Krumlov district and by examining the available regulations to achieve the objective of this work. The answers of the interviewees are recorded in graphs that show the personal view of the issue of predetermination of fire protection units.
Technical means of fire protection in Příbram.
AUDA, Tomáš
In this bachelor's thesis regarding technical means of fire protection in the regional body of Příbram I dealt with technical and fire protection equipment of selected fire protection units. In the theoretical part I focused on general clarification of the concept of integrated rescue system and the description of its core and other departments. Subsequently, I discussed the levels of coordination during a common intervention of two or more units. The categories of fire protection units, types of fire protection units and their ability to act are also described. The next chapter focuses on the predestination of fire protection units. Further I discuss technical means of fire protection. I describe the basic concepts and their categorization according to the rules of the mechanical and technical service of the Fire and Rescue Service of the Czech Republic. At the end of the theoretical part, the division of fire stations by type is described. In the research part of the thesis I describe selected fire protection units of categories I, II and III. Basic description of the surroundings, determination of the type of fire station, number of members of the unit, their professional competence, list of technical means of fire protection, documentation of fire stations and armories. Subsequent own research is presented for each unit in a clear bar graph. The discussion includes the evaluation and comparison of the equipment of selected fire protection units by technical means of fire protection according to the predestination and own research. The conclusion describes a general summary of the bachelor's thesis and extended research of new issues. At the end of the conclusion the practical use of the thesis is described.
The Puritan view of death: attitudes toward death and dying in Puritan New England
Holubová, Petra ; Procházka, Martin (advisor) ; Robbins, David Lee (referee)
The Puritan attitude toward death in seventeenth- and early eighteenth-century New England was ambivalent and contained both terror at the possibility of eternal damnation and hope for deliverance. The joyful theme of the migratio ad Dominum resonated with the Saints only at times when they were convinced divine grace was actively working in their lives, but when they saw they were backsliding, the horror of death prevailed. Puritan anxiety about death was caused by tensions inherent in the doctrine of predestination, which implied man's dependence on God's inscrutability, and in the doctrine of assurance, which implied that self-doubt was more desirable than full assurance of salvation. What complicated any verification of the presence of grace was man's endless potential for self-deception. Memento mori gave urgency to the Puritan work ethic and the effective use of time. The anxiety about one's destiny began in early childhood when death and its ensuing horrors for the depraved were used as a means of religious instruction to provoke spiritual precocity and conversion. This early immersion into the discourse about death has been erroneously interpreted as a proof of the non-existence of childhood in Puritan New England. Deathbed scenes depicted in Puritan spiritual biographies were designed as examples...
"In Love He Predestinated Us..." Predestination. Sain Paul, Saint Augustin and Vladimír Boublík
BRICHCÍNOVÁ, Kateřina
The doctrine of predestination in Western theology had for centuries been burdened by the dualistic conception of Saint Augustine. The bishop of Hippo held that it is God?s intention to reveal His mercy on a small number of those predestined to salvation and His justice on a far larger mass of rightly damned sinners. He came to be convinced that salvation is an utterly undeserved gift and consequently he negated the importance of human freedom. His interpretation would rather give rise to anxiety than the hope Scripture speaks about. Vladimír Boublík dared to oppose Augustine?s authority and presented an entirely different solution based on modern exegesis of the Pauline epistles. He defined predestination as an irreversible divine decision the content of which is the participation of all humanity on divine life in Christ. The present paper shows that Boublík?s theology stems from not just academic, but above all existential search for the answer to the question of human destiny marked with sin, suffering and death. It is already apparent on the pages of the spiritual diary the author kept during his studies. All his writing shows the intention to address his contemporaries and lead them to Christ who stands in the centre of the author?s thinking. This paper attempts to follow up on the work of the Czech exile theologian. It presents his conception of predestination and further develops it in some respects. Besides other things, it throws light on the previously unclarified problem of Christ?s primacy in predestination. Vladimír Boublík?s thesis is confronted with objections that have been raised against it and its content is compared with the content of today?s contribution to the topic.
