Analysis of the principles of music therapy and the introduction of its elements into the methodology of the summer children's camp

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is the analysis of music therapy, its principles and creation of activities with elements of music therapy that can be used at a children's summer camp. The thesis theoretically describes music therapy and its main topics - history, methods, techniques and forms of music therapy and the personality of a music therapist. It also focuses on the topic of children's summer camps and their necessities - the definition of the recovery event, persons providing the event and the target group of participants. The thesis summarizes basic principles of music therapy based on the literary research. The main part of the thesis contains a description of activities with elements of music therapy that are applicable in the methodology of children's summer camp activities, especially at the children's summer camp Pohoďák.
Music therapy elements in work with seniors

The aim of this thesis is music therapy and its elements in work with seniors. The thesis describes music therapy, its methods and types, music therapy process and selected musical instruments used in music therapy. Further, it inspects the positive effects of music on human. In detail, it describes characteristics of the senior age: physical, psychological and social changes. The last chapter describes suggested drafts of music therapy sessions. These include a detailed description of selected follow-up activities. The music therapy program is designed for clients in seniors house.
Use of music therapy to adapt children to nursery schooling

This diploma thesis is focused on music therapy and related activities that were used to adapt children to nursery school. The theoretical part describes children adaptation and music therapy in general - history, definitions, methods and effects on pre-school children. The practical part contains a methodical list of music therapy activities that were applied on two and three-year-old children. The conclusion of my thesis indicates that repeatedly using specific music therapy activities makes adaptation less problematic.
