Optimization of Supply

The diploma thesis deals with the optimization of inventory management with the help of operational research methods. The aim is to appropriately select and apply the inventory management method in a real company. To provide a broader view of this issue, the work begins with a brief presentation of logistics. In addition, stocks are described and classified together with the costs associated with them. Then the possibilities of inventory management in the company are presented. A brief description of the mathematical modeling is later followed by the selected inventory management methods, which are specified in more detail. In the second half of the thesis, a construction company is introduced. In the company, the ABC analysis of stocks was carried out, taking into account turnover values. Stocks were selected for optimization based on the results. Their recorded historical consumption was analyzed and, if necessary, adjusted to enable application of inventory management methods. The P-system of inventory management was applied to the selected stocks. The proposed supply solution was compared with the currently implemented system based on the resulting costs. The conclusion of the thesis contains an evaluation of the proposed optimization and other recommendations that the company should apply.

Optimization of Inventory

The subject of this thesis is optimization of inventory in selected organization. Inventory optimization is a very important topic in each organization because it reduces storage costs. At the beginning the inventory theory is presented. It shows the meaning and types of inventory, inventory control and also different methods and models of inventory control. Inventory optimization in the enterprise can be reached by using models of inventory control. In the second part the company on which is applied the analysis of various mathematical and statistical methods is presented. Specifically ABC analysis where the individual components of inventory are divided into groups according to the importance. EOQ model which serves to minimise the cost of supply and tries to optimise the time cycle of the supply. Safety stock ensures the smooth running of the production and covers the extraordinary fluctuations between deliveries. At the end these methods are compared and evaluated.

This bachelor thesis "Analysis of Warehouse Inventory in the Company Dendera a.s." is focused on supplies of the company, especially on their composition and quantity. This thesis contains the theoretical bases of the supplies, their models and mainly the ABC method.The chosen company is presented in the practical part of the thesis and its storage supplies are analysed on the basis of the theoretical findings, with the ABC method and the creation of the model of supplies with the help of the Maple system.

Stochastické modely a jejich řešení v MS Excel

The aim of this thesis is to create an application in MS Excel, which would have been able to count on basic stock models, and Markov decision processes with alternatives. This issue is devoted to the first part of the work. This is the theory needed to understand the basic principles and method of calculation tasks. The second part describes the developed application that can be solved one-product and multiproduct deterministic stock models, stochastic stock models and Markov decision processes with alternatives, and changing valuation of the transition. The description is supplemented with graphic images directly from the application, which makes using applications easier to understand. The part of work is also CD with created application.

The goal of my thesis was to analize special stock models and to create a small aplication in MS Excel. Introduction is devoted to common description of stocks. The main part is focused on special stock models especialy on quantity rabate and model Q system. Application in MS excel is created for this models. In conclusion I verified application on fictive datas.

The thesis is focused on finding optimal solution of stock company Dencop Lighting spol. s.r.o. At the very beginning of the thesis there is a brief characteristic of Dencop Lighting, their market aims and goals. After this view we are going to introduce you warehouse systems. There are analysis of products, their selection, flows and potentials for company. After completing product analysis we are going to focus on key factors of optimalization. There are mentioned many ways of optimalization with their advantages and disadvantages. Deterministic and stochastic methods are included as well. For better illusion in real live you can find added CD at the bottom of the thesis. Using guide of this software with detailed information about functions is in last pages of the thesis.

Modely řízení zásob

Práce má za cíl zmapovat vývoj modelů pro řízení zásob. Modely jsou rozděleny do čtyř základních skupin na deterministické nebo stochastické a statické nebo dynamické, podle toho, zda připouštějí náhodné výkyvy v poptávce a zda jsou určeny pro jednorázové nebo opakované pořízení zásoby. Důraz je kladen na teoretický základ pro formulaci modelů a pochopení jejich konstrukce. Nejvýznamnějšími modely, kterými se práce zabývá, jsou Newsvendor Problem, který představuje stochastický statický model, a Economic Order Quantity, což je dynamický model, který předpokládá deterministické podmínky, ale adaptuje se i ve stochastickém prostředí.

Evidence a účetní oceňování zásob v obchodním podniku

Cílem diplomové práce je proniknout do problematiky evidence a účetního oceňování zásob. Práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. První část práce se věnuje významu a charakteristice zásob podle právní úpravy v ČR, Mezinárodních účetních standardů a amerických US GAAP. Dále popisuje různé způsoby evidence zásob a modely účetního zobrazení zásob vlastní výroby a jejich vliv na účetní výkazy. Kapitola oceňování zásob je stěžejní částí diplomové práce, kde jsou přesně vymezeny zásady oceňování a především způsoby oceňování zásob při pořízení a úbytcích dle Českých účetních standardů v porovnání s Mezinárodními účetními standardy a americkými US GAAP. Závěr první části upozorňuje na specifické případy, které mohou nastat na konci účetního období včetně tvorby opravných položek. Druhá část stručně představuje obchodní společnost Reckitt Benckiser spol. s r.o. Vymezuje předmět činnosti a představuje portfolio zboží, se kterým obchoduje. Pozornost je zde zaměřena na skladové hospodářství, pořízení a oceňování zboží při pořízení a při vyskladnění, inventarizaci tvorbě opravných položek.
