A long-term facility is an institution, which shares clients and some of problems with classical examples of total institutions, but recent reforms aimed to minimalize features of total institutions. Still it does not seem to be a vital institution and new aspects of social situation of staff and clients are recognized. Among new problems is non-existence of therapy for the inhabitants, their marginalization through poor financial situation in an institution, where lot of services are paid and little continuity to other forms of care of more community and ambulant character. The thesis is divided in the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part describes the history and function of the coordinated rehabilitation, mental health care history, psychiatric reform and multi-disciplinary cooperation functioning. There is used the strategy of quality analysis in the research part. It was done by the questionnaire and the technique of half-structured interview. The results coming out of the interview were focused on the functioning of multi-disciplinary team in the institution and the cooperating subjects in the first part. The second part was dedicated to the basic parts of the coordinated rehabilitation provided in the organization in view of the fact that there were other participating professionals and non-formal participants during the care of the person with mental disorder. The aim of the research was to map the sectors of the coordinated rehabilitation used by the individuals with mental disorders in the organization Focus in Pelhřimov. The research team was created with the help of the method of the snow ball and basic criteria was employment of an "communication partner" in the particular organization. Their ability to evaluate their job and take part in the lead interview depended on their experience in Focus. In connection with the thesis aim there was also set the main research question: What parts of the coordinated rehabilitation are used in the organization Focus in Pelhřimov? Partial questions were devolved from that which were connected to the particular parts of the coordinated rehabilitation and the function of the multi-disciplinary team. The first contact and the next cooperation is developed by the seriousness, necessity and wishes of the client. The work with the client with mental disorder is based on the philosophy of recuperation, not recovery. In the relationship and the concentration, the work is done in all sectors of the coordinated rehabilitation. The client has the closest relationship to the key worker who provides the care in the multi-disciplinary team and other professionals in the organization. There is the conclusion from the results that there was an agreement that the coordinated rehabilitation is used in this institution and no other from the basic sectors can be omitted. The results of the diploma thesis can be used as feedback for the organization Focus in the practice where it can be useful for mapping of the sectors of coordinated rehabilitation and making clear the needs of the individuals with mental disorder. Taking into consideration the recommendation to use the feedback of the respondents about information sharing, to prefer common space of the whole team and bigger promotion.

MATĚNOVÁ, Kateřina
The bachelor thesis on the topic Shelter Housing in České Budějovice. Specific Social Services And Problems of Its Development deals with the support of independent housing of people with mental disease. In the theoretical part I described the shelter housing as a specific social service. Furthermore I focused at the concrete social service of K-Pax Housing in České Budějovice, which is in function since 2015. The projects successfully applied by the social service are introduced in the end of the theoretical part. The practical section of my bachelor thesis deals with my quantitative research. Research method of questioning was used for gaining the data and structured interview with opened questions was used as a technique of collection data. I carried out interviews with five respondents, who are employees of K-Pax Housing, in the research. The goal of the work is to capture an image of a developing social service and its activity, clarification of difficulties and obstacles with whom the social workers deal with and to suggest some optimization recommendations. Two research questions were asked for accomplishing the thesis's goal. The first one for finding current difficulties deals with problems that prevent K-Pax Housing project from further development. The second question is looking for the solutions of current problems suggested by the respondents. The results gained in the research of the practical section show that the social service has difficulties concerning lack of finance and employees. Respondents also agreed on that disobeying of the set rules in the housing are a big problem. A couple of optimization solutions were suggested based on the results: hiring a worker for the position of fund-raiser, finding more volunteers, co-operate with other organisations providing social service of shelter housing.

Physiotherapy in the patients with combined handicap - physical and mental
ČEKALOVÁ, Renata
My bachelor´s work deals with possible applications of physiotherapy for patients with combined disabilities physical and mental. The number of people with combined disabilities is growing despite improving medical care and more advanced technologies used. Most cases are incurable illnesses where a timely diagnosis and following early rehabilitation, which can significantly mitigate the consequences, are the most important factors. The theoretical part focuses on the characteristics, diagnostics, etiology and classification of the physical and mental disability and on the comparison of particular literary sources. The next part was dedicated to various possibilities of therapy for people with combined disabilities. The therapy does not mean only therapeutic rehabilitation. The social, pedagogical and work rehabilitations play an important part, too. The goal of the complete rehabilitation is achievement of as much self-sufficiency as possible, active life integration or adoption of the handicap. It is a process which helps disabled people to develop or strengthen their physical, mental and social skills. As for people with acquired disability we try to retrieve as many former abilities as possible. On the other hand people with a congenital disability are treated to keep ordinary development. The practical part writes up three casuistries in which I set a target, a description of the methodology and characteristics of the research sample. While meeting the first client the anamnesis and the entrance kinesiology examination were done. The front, from behind and side physical exams were included, together with the palpation examination, the examination of shortened muscles, motion stereotypes, examination of standing on one leg or walking. Next, I examined the distances in the spine and did a special examination focused on the deep spine stabilization. Thereof three tests according to Kolář were chosen the midriff test, the extention test and the body flection test. The therapy took 10 weeks at the Diagnostic welfare institute (since 01/01/2015 renamed - Kopretina home). The goal of the work was to chart the physiotherapy at selected clients with combined disability and then to suggest and perform a short-time therapeutic plan. Next I compared the states at the beginning and at the end of the research regarding the influence on the quality of their lives. The therapy was finished with an output kinesiology examination and with interviews with individual clients to get to know their subjective therapy assessment.
Availability and use of health and social services for people with mental disease in České Budějovice
KORTIŠOVÁ, Jana
The aim was to explore users' satisfaction with availability of healthcare and social services for people with mental illness in České Budějovice and also to map the use of these services from the users' perspective, but also employees' perspective. To obtain the necessary data I used quantitative research, a questionnaire technique. In total 77 questionnaires were distributed - in Domino and Fokus organizations in České Budějovice and also in the psychiatric ward in hospital in České Budějovice. Respondents were not only their users, but also staff of these institutions. The research shows that the most used service are day care centers, counseling and therapeutic services, and on the contrary, many users and workers lack social housing. Regarding health services, the most interviewed clients uses the services of a psychiatrist or general practitioner from whom the largest percentage of respondents obtains information about the services. The workers' responses showed that the vast majority of users of services has an interest in the offered programs, and in their opinion, primarily programs for use of leisure time, social and therapeutic programs should be supported. The greatest problem is seen in high financial demands on services and associated uncertain funding of social services and poor linkage between health and social services.
