The Development of Local Government in the Municipality of Horní Cerekev

The thesis deals with the development of local government in the village of Horni Cerekev. The work is conceived as a case study. Thematic framework for the work starts in 1990 and continues to the present. The work depicts Individual municipal elections as an element shaping the local political environment and summarizes the development of the political scene in relation to local government. The introductory part describes the basic theoretical background of the local rural area of the municipality. The work is based on political science theory. The work also defines the context and specificity of municipal elections, the basic characteristics of the typology of the political scene municipalities, mayor types including municipal systems. The theoretical part sets the basis for the practical part. Describing the socio-economic indicators of the village continues in the practical part of the work focusingon on semi-structured interviews to evaluate the local political scene, principles of functioning of local party system and identification of political participants.

The Development of Local Government in the Municipality of Kamenný Újezd

This dissertation focuses on current issues of Kamenný Újezd´s local council. Kamenný Újezd is a municipality with over two thousand inhabitants. This assessment looks into the local political process in the municipality. This assessment is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. Theoretical part focuses on the local councils, general establishments and elections into the local authorities in the Czech Republic. It also focuses on local political partisanship, coalition and the theory of political cleavage. The practical part of the dissertation describes some demographic and socioeconomics indicators in the municipality. Majority of the practical part is devoted to the local elections from 1994 - 2014. The results from these elections are put into graphs and charts. The collected data is then compared. In the last part of the dissertation are interviews with local politicians. Main public and political problems in the municipality are discussed. Also public relations and main political cleavages between individual politicians are discussed in these interviews.

The Process of Setting Up the Local Government in the Municipality of Proseč

The subject of bachelor´s work is the problematic research of local self-government of town Prosec. The work is divided in two parts, theoretic and practical. The theoretic part is explaining the basic concepts and the starting points that is the town itself, the state bodies, the council and the foreign advice and legislation. The theoretical part also shows a summary of the basic concepts relating to communal election, the results, electoral right, candidacy and influence of sides on the result of the election. It also shows different ways of election and the count of valid election results. The practical element is aimed on profit of socioeconomic indicators of the town and evaluates its value on the influence on the development and functioning of the local self-government. The practical part is also trying to find solutions of the political process of the town, it's development and analytics of the mutual relationships and character definition of making process decision depending on the results of the communal election between 1994 to 2014. Great method was used within local investigation including an interview with the candidates from the last communal election that were voted by the elected councillor and representatives of the local society. The rating of the socioeconomic indicators and communal election is done by classification of Petr Jüptner at the end.

This bachelor thesis focuses on local political process in Hořovice. Thesis is separated to theoretic part and analytic part.
Theoretic part include terms, which is used with problems of local political process. Analytic part is about Hořovice and political situation inside the city. Method for this bachelor thesis will be "case study". In first chapter are main informations about city, include demographical situation and social-economic attributes. There are comparison of elects from years 2002 to 2014 in second chapter. This bachelor thesis include also evaluation of actual political situation in Hořovice. In last chapter are Hořovice compared with theoretic part and communal coalitions.

Bachelor thesis deals to the issue of the formation of local self-government in town Česká Třebová. It is divided into two parts, theoretical and own work. The theoretical part includes basic concepts of local politics as is the community and their types, local elections, local actors in the political process, typology of political parties and coalition theory in terms of communal politics on which is based own work. Part two " own work " focuses on actual town Česká Třebová, brief characterization, history, identifies local actors of the political process on the basis of interviews representatives of various political parties, the formation of local self - government and post-election negotiations.

This thesis deals with local politics in a specific municipality in the Czech Republic. First part of this thesis is focused on theoretical basics of this topic. This part contains summarization of definitions of basic terms and mechanisms that local politics is based on. Second part of this thesis is focused on the municipality of Kutná Hora. It contains characteristics of the municipality and application of theoretical findings to the specific municipality. The aim is to identify factors influencing function of the local government. The qualitative method of research was used in this thesis, especially half-structuralized interviews with eight local politicians.

The Development of Local Government in the Municipality of Libčice nad Vltavou

This thesis deals with the issue of the formation of local authotrities in the municipality of Libčice nad Vltavou. The thesis is divided into theoretical and analytical parts and it is conceived as a case study.
The theoretical part focuses on explaining the basic concepts of local politics and election. Further explanation of the terms used in the analytical part. The analytical part focuses on the city Libčice nad Vltavou. First is describes the history of the city, defined territory and population demographics and amenities. Furthermore the thesis deals with a various political actors in Libčice nad Vltavou, the election results from the year 1994 - 2014 and electoral support in individual election districts in the last two election. Attention is also paid to the creation of local party system and the continuity of candidacy. A detailed research of the election results from the years 1994 - 2014 characterized by the development of the local party system and voting behavior. Using semi-standardized interviews with representatives of local political parties, former actor of political life in the city and employees of the municipal office then is identified and formed a local cleavages that have Influence on the formation of local government, and then based on these interviews identified factors influencing the compilation of coalitions.

The Development of Local Government in the Municipality of Horní Počernice

The diploma thesis deals with the development of local gouvernement of municipality Horní Počernice. The main purpose is to find out the factors, which affect the charakter of local political proces in this municipality. The thesis consists of two parts, which are the literature overview and practical part. The first part includes general charasteristic of self-government and municipal politics in the Czech Republic. The practical part includes the characteristics of major social-economic indicators of the municipality. In the thesis are also indentified the main actors of local political proces of the municipality, the interets and business groups and the relationship between each other. The practical part is especially focused on comparison of municipal elections in Horní Počernice and on the analysis of the local party system. The practical part also includes the characteristics of conduct local political actors, creation coalitions and are characterized local cleavages. In the end of the thesis are summarized the established facts.

The Development of Local Government in the Municipality of Květnice

This thesis deals with local level of politics, the municipal politics. The objective of the thesis is to find out what factors influence development of local government in specific conditions of the Květnice village. Literature review containing theoretical basis of the thesis constitutes the first part. There are defined specific notions, for example municipal authorities, municipality, municipal electoral system, citizen participation in the political process, or suburbanization. The theoretical part, based on reference literature, is followed by the practical one. That part is specifically focused on the Květnice village. This part contains the characteristic of the village, its history, public facility and the analysis of socio-economic indicators such as number of inhabitants, age structure or scholarship, with measure of the influence on political life in the village. The practical part also includes an analysis and a comparison of elections results from 1994 to 2014 and an identification of the important political subjects, who participate on political situation.
