A theme of the diploma work "The study of purchasing management for implementation of new production" is a suggestion for improving the purchasing operations for newly lauching production in the company IFE-CR, a.s. The first part is focused on a description of the company and a theoretical specification of purchasing of a manufactoring company, the second part deals with an analysis of the current state of purchasing in the company. In the last part there is a suggestion for steps of how to improve the current purchasing functions.

The diploma thesis deals with the design of models for evaluation of suppliers and their possible risks for a retail food business. Supplier risk is evaluated using fuzzy logic. Models are created in Microsoft Excel and MATLAB. At the beginning of the thesis is the problem defined in the theoretical framework, which is followed by the analytical and practical part of the thesis with proposals for solution of the problem.

This diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of supplier risk for a chosen company Vinařství Soška using the fuzzy logic principles. This company like many others is forced to shift its sales to the Internet environment due to the government restrictions established to reflect the pandemic situation. For a successful Internet business, it is necessary to choose an optimal ecommerce software based on the company requirements. For this purpose, two fuzzy logic models are built in Microsoft Excel and MATLAB software. Their aim is to evaluate the potential risk of all of the suppliers. Based on this evaluation, the results are transformed into specific recommendations on how to choose the optimal solution for the company. The first chapters deal with the general theory that is later used in the analytical part.

This Master's thesis deals with design of models for rating of M. K. R. plus suppliers of steel wires using fuzzy logic. The decision-making models are created in the MS Excel and in the MATLAB software. This thesis includes acknowledgement with theory, which will be used in the practical part for design of individual models. Current and potential suppliers of the company will be evaluated using the created models and their benefit to company will be assessed.

Thesis deals with the issue of selecting and evaluating suppliers in selected company. The first part about theory discusses purchasing, its stages and other factors that affects the company's choice. It defines contractors, suppliers and possible classification criteria which are used when companies are choosing suppliers. There is discussion of methods that are used for the selection and evaluation of suppliers. The next section introduces the company WOOD PARTNER Ltd. Then, there is analyzed and assessed the current process of evaluation and selection of the contractor. Subsequently identified weaknesses in the process and proposed new methodology for supplier selection and supplier evaluation, which could be easily applicable. The thesis also designs a suitable methodology for evaluating current suppliers of WOOD PARTNER Ltd.
