Proposal methodists recordings in volleyball\\
BLAŽEK, Zdeněk
This thesis proposes methodology of settig technique in volleyball. It concerns specification and systematics of volleyball, divides setting according to technical and tactical perspectives. The main aim was to design a model setting exercise and to test it on a control group. For control group I chose girl players from Tj Jiskra team in Zruč nad Sázavou. They were divided into A and B group. Both groups went through a movement skills test and a test determinig the setting skill level. For 4 mounths A group practiced the setting technique exercises. After this period both groups were tested again and the results were compared and statistically evaluated. The thesis also includes a series of game and drill exercises within each stage. \\
Baseball modification for children and their comparison.
Aubrecht, Ivan ; Pravečková, Petra (advisor) ; Kočíb, Tomáš (referee)
Title: Baseball modifications for kids and their comparison Objectives: The goal of this project is to compare, via a two tier method, modified version of baseball for kids, T-ball and Coachpitch. First goal is a comparison of a course of a T-ball and a Coachpitch game - analysis and evaluation of games and their respective scorecards , with the aim of extracting information about the course and the character of the game in both of these modifications. Second goal is an analysis of a cinematic footage of a baseball swing and analysis of differences in mechanics between hitting against a Coachpitch delivery and hitting off a tee in T-ball. On the data extracted from the first two steps, evaluation of benefits of each of these baseball modifications follows. Methods: This research is a case study of a descriptive character in which a large amount of data from 11 individuals is collected. Video footage of 11 research subjects was created for swing motion in both baseball modifications. Video footage was thereafter evaluated via computer programme Dartfish. Extracted data was afterwards analysed via a one-way analysis of variance method. In the second part of the thesis, evaluation of the modified scorecards and subsequent transfer of these scorecards into statistical data is used. Results: Thesis...
Comparisons of softball swing at pitches from a pitching machine and pitcher
Šmejkalová, Petra ; Carboch, Jan (advisor) ; Pravečková, Petra (referee)
Title: Comparisons of softball swing at pitches from a pitching machine and pitcher Objectives: The aim of this research is to compare the timing of players of softball within individually phases of hitting by a standard softball pitcher and a pitching machine. Another aim is to analyse individual phases of softball hitting and determine whether the training of hitting through a pitching machine is a appropriate substitute for the preparation of a standardized softball pitching which softball players experience during each match. Methods: This research is a descriptive case study, in which we gather a large number of data from five individuals. A ride of five players and their execution of hitting approaches against a pitching machine and real pitcher was created. Subsequently the record from the camera Basler GeniCam piA640-210gc with frame rate 200 frames per second was then evaluated via of computer program Dartfish, which is designed for analyses of motor skills. Results: The results show that the whole movement of players was noticeably slower, in the case of a pitching machine use. Regarding the use of a pitching machine and real pitcher, the statistic results show differences. The differences derive from the absence of conscious prediction of pitches motion in the case of the pitching...

Comparisons of movements during a baseball swing at pitches from a pitcher or from the pitching machine
Aubrecht, Ivan ; Pravečková, Petra (advisor) ; Carboch, Jan (referee)
Title: Comparisons of movements during a baseball swing at pitches from a pitcher or from the pitching machine Objectives: The aim of the research is analyses of kinematic record of baseball swing and its differences in mechanics while using three distinct variants. Standard live baseball pitching, practice pitching machine, and hitting from the batting tee. Methods: Conducted research is a case study descriptiveness, in which we gather a large number of data from five individuals. Video of five probands and their execution of hitting approach was created in three different variations. The record from the camera was then evaluated through the use of computer program Dartfish, which is designed for analyses of motor skills. The acquired data was formed using using a one-way analyzes of variance. Results: When hitting from the batting tee, stage of the leg kick and upper body load is substantially longer, which is caused by absence of variable of moving ball. Therefore players are not limited by timing of the hitting motion directly dependent to a moving ball. When hitting against pitching machine the time of player's load is longer in compare to facing live pitcher, which is in this case caused by the absence of conscious prediction of pitchers motion. Keywords: baseball, hitting, pitcher, pitching...
