The possibility of the use of art education within environmental education

The main topics of my bachelor thesis are environmental education and art creativity. The theoretical part defines art creativity and describes its stages, marks and essence. Its principles and research are also outlined. In the thesis, art creativity is described in the context of art education. The attention here is paid to the principles in art education both from the didactic and pedagogical views. Other topics also include the applications and goals in art education or the dependence of art activities on the child's age. Owing to the practical part it was also necessary to describe the environment and functions of afters-school clubs and the relation between art education and primary school children. Another theoretical aspect is environmental education, mainly the questions of waste and its recycling. The analysed topics of art creativity, art education and environmental education are in a tight relation with the practical part of the thesis ? a project realized in Nové Hodějovice primary school after-school club. The practical rendition of the individual tasks created particularly for this bachelor thesis was to help the children realise the importance of waste recycling and, eventually, make them consider alternative use of waste in their leisure-time activities.
Forest animals as model taxon within ecological education in nursery school

ABSTRACT: Pokorná, L.: Environmental Education in Kindergarten Forest animals as model taxons in environmental education in kindergarten. The thesis was designed as educational offer for work with preschool children focusing on closer knowledge about the life of forest animals. This offer has been developed into twelve integrated blocks using the story "Kubik and friends of the forest". Six of these blocks have been tested and the results of these are being used as a preparation for the implementation of the remaining six. The worksheets and graphomotory worksheets for preschool children were designed to accompany the topics.
Environmental Education and Its Aplication in the Form of Eco-Educational Programs

The diploma thesis deals with the environmental education and focuses on the centers for ecological education. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical one. In the theoretical part there explained terms connected with environmental education. There is also explained the importance of the environmental education in nowadays society. Next there are mentioned specific trends and methods which are most used in the centers for ecological education, not only in eco-education a programs. The practical part presents eco-center "Šípek" in Český Krumlov, which practises environmental education and enlightenment mainly in the form of eco-education a programs for pre-school, elementary and secundary schools. In these programs the educators apply the methods of specific environmental education trends which are connected into the common goal.
Present Conception of School and Out-of-school Ecological Education in Czech republic

The principal part of thesis is reflection how to pedagogically influence in the sphere of environmental education and edification. The work has two parts - theoretical and practical. Theoretical part consists of two main themes: the relationship of man to nature, where we deal with the characteristics, development history and the influence of direct contact with nature in the development of individuals, and present selected aspects of the current state of the world, and values for sustainable development. The second part is devoted to environmental education, the basic starting points and objectives and identifies principles of effective environmental education. The practical part is a project of stay summer camp with ecoeducational content on the theme of "Disaster".

This master thesis deals with leisure activities and their possibilites at work with cross-senctional themes at the first stage of primary school. This thesis is aimed to determine attitudes of teachers to integrate cross-sectional themes to education and creating a five-day program. Section defines theoretical basis of literature on the concept of leisure activities and is characterized by cross-senctional themes. It suggests procedures for integrating cross-senctional themes in education and outlines the possibility of of cross-senctional themes intersection with leisure activities. In the practical part is used the questionnaire method to investigated attitude of teachers to integrate cross-senctional themes into teaching in primary schools. The main point of this master thesis is a five day program focusing on environmental education.

The topic of this dissertation reflects the current situation in Czech educational system after the new educational act has been passed in 2005. It clarifies the concepts of educational reforms and school curriculum documents. It also explains new terms, mainly the key competence and profile topics and their position in school educational programmes it focuses on environmental education. It presents the conclusions of a research of this profile topic in practice of elementary schools of south bohemia region. It sums up the experience of a pilot school and its establishment {--} the ecology education centre.
The seniors view of the condition of the environment in the Czech republic

The aim of this thesis is to clarify senior citizens´ attitude to the condition of the environment in the Czech Republic and their concern to share efforts for its improvement as well as to learn if they feel responsible and can get enough information in this field. The introductory, theoretical part mentions the term of {\clqq}old age`` and gives the analysis of the present-day and future demographic development of the number of seniors. In my thesis I deal not only with the term itself but also with its influence on healthy lifestyle of seniors. I summarize and assess findings I have obtained from seniors in terms of their own attitudes to the condition of the environment. The other, practical part of my thesis deals with the results I acquired by the method of semi-standardized interviews and questionnaires. The 14 seniors aged 65 {--} 74 years who took part in the research had been selected at random. The results of the described research are favourable: seniors appreciate activities that make them more informed and thus responsible for the environment in the Czech Republic. They welcome the opportunity to share their views on the issue by meeting other people and building up social contacts thereby. They would like to get engaged more and help to improve the condition of the environment.
Analysis of Environmental Education in Firms

Environmental education is one of the voluntary environmental tools that can positively influence implementation of environmental protection actions. The target groups of environmental education are children and youth, public administration, firms and public in general. Environmental education brings positive environmental effects for the environment and also positive economic effects for firms which implement it. These diploma theses analyze demand and supply of the environmental education focused on firms in the Czech Republic. Methodology of the demand analysis is based on individual in-depth interviews with the use of questionaire and sample of the research are small and medium enterprises situated in Hradec Králové region. Methodology of the supply analysis is a desk research method.
