Air Condition of theatre
Běťák, Karel ; Blasinski, Petr (referee) ; Uher, Pavel (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis deals with the design of air-conditioning system for a small town theater. Ventilation will ensure coverage of heat gains and losses in the theater hall and forced ventilation of adjacent areas will ensure optimum internal microclimate. The needs of actors and viewers will be provided by three air handling units.
The issue of Ecodesign in the machine tool
Burtsev, Ilya ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Holub, Michal (advisor)
This bachaelors thesis discusses the issues of Ecodesign in the machine tools. The first part of the thesis includes analysis of current legislation requirements in Ecodesign. The second part of the thesis includes researches in Ecodesign and energy efficent components. In conclusion of the thesis described personal recommendation in sphere of Ecodesign.
Eco-design in electronics - directives and tools for optimizing
Chlup, Marian ; Brzobohatý, Jaromír (referee) ; Szendiuch, Ivan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the problem of ecological design and optimization of electrical products. The theoretical part describes the ecodesign legislation and assessment tools. The practical part is deals with created software for evaluation and comparison of electrical products. I analyzed three flash drives, which are commonly used. In these flash drives analyze packages and these packages were evaluated and compared with software. The last section describes the problems of availability of the necessary information.
Verification of emission class of solid fuel boilers
Skoupý, Jan ; Štelcl, Otakar (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
This thesis is focused on verifying of emission class of solid fuel boilers. The boilers are described from principle of combustion process in the beginning. The second part divide and describe solid fuels which are intended to burn in these boilers. The third part deals with requirements of legislation of the Czech Republic and European Union. The last part verifies this requirements on the selected solid fuel boiler.
Air conditioning in the kindergarten
Šomodi, Petr ; Rubina, Aleš (referee) ; Blasinski, Petr (advisor)
The topic of bachelor thesis deals with the design of two air conditioning units for kindergarten in Ostrava city. Both units are designed to meet operating, functional and hygienic limits. Document has three parts. The first theoretical part defines types and economical operations of ventilators. The second part is focused on design of air conditioning units. The third part consists of engineering report and drawings.
Design a AHU unit with respect to the heat recovery system
Otava, Jiří ; Blasinski, Petr (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on problems of heat exchangers. There are two main objectives. The first objective is based on long-term measuring of enthalpy heat exchanger, processing of measured data and comparison of result with manufacturer's results. The second objective is design of variant solutions for two types of heat exchanger of air conditioning unit of selected shop. For variant without moisture transportation was selected cross flow exchangers. Thanks to knowledge from long-term measurement, was selected enthalpy heat exchanger for variant with moisture transportation. Chosen variants were compared with emphasis on heat and moisture exchange efficiency with requirements on Ecodesign.
(MATERIAL) – CONSCIOUS DESIGN
Filípková, Valentýna ; Václavková, Maria Nina (referee) ; Tobola, Ondřej (advisor)
The online platform consciousdesign.cz, created as the output of the thesis, provides sources for possible conscious approaches to design. It consists of a database of innovative materials, research texts, related links and interviews with designers, material specialists, scientists and technologists. The website can serve as a starting point for students and designers who are interested in current possibilities and new ways leading to design that is responsible to nature and humans.
Návrh nábytkového prvku s využitím materiálu vyrobeného z morskej trávy
Bellayová, Veronika
The bachelor thesis focuses on exploring the possibilities of using the material from seagrass Posidonia Oceanica for production of furniture. The aim was to design a furniture element made of this material that would meet the criteria for sustainable products to the maximum extent possible. For a better understanding of the concept of eco-design, a literature review on the subject was developed, summarising its practices, tools, and strategies. For the production and exploration of seagrass materials, it was also important to develop a literature review on the topic of bio composite materials, seagrass materials and an overview of their use in furniture design. Two types of adhesives were used in the production of the material and the resulting material was tested for bending characteristics, Brinell hardness and tensile strength perpendicular to the plane of the board. The properties of the fabricated material were compared with particleboard. In the process of designing a furniture element from the tested material, review on seagrass side tables was carried out. Subsequently, a custom design was created with construction solution and visualizations. Finally, a FEM analysis was created for the designed element to verify its stability.
Návrh nábytkového prvku s využitím materiálu z houbového mycelia
Paulasová, Dominika
The thesis deals with the options for using fungal mycelium in the field of furniture. The aim was to design a furniture element so that the material’s prope-rties are taken into account. The theoretical part provides information on the ma-terial, its production, properties and processing possibilities. The literature re-view gives an insight into the current development of mycelium materials and the options for their use. The practical part deals with the design of a bench whose seat is made of mycelium composite. The experimental part thus includes mea-surements of selected material characteristics such as impact resistance, Brinell scale hardness, density profile, flakiness and flexure. The measurements compare samples with different input parameters such as the time the mycelium grew and initial densification during moulding.
Návrh nábytkového prvku s využitím materiálu Cannabis sativa L.
Rašková, Aneta
The bachelor thesis deals with the possibility of using hemp in the furniture industry, mainly in the form of structural boards. The thesis includes the design of a simple furniture element and the determination of the degree of substitutability of classical wooden components such as particle board by hemp ones. The work includes a research of dressing tables on the market, introduction to the concepts of eco-design and sustainability, history and use, hemp familiarization with the approach to working with hemp of the companies Hempwood and Vepa, design and drawing documentation, i.e. the development of the design to the final form, model 3D visualization of the variants, design solutions, production process and testing of the boards. Conducting tests on mechanical properties of DTD and hemp boards, their comparison and evaluation. Assessment of the applicability of the material in a specific design or identification of other possible applications.
