Representation of migration and migrants in political discourse in Russia and the Czech Republic

The economic and social disruption caused by the global pandemic has affected aggressive political rhetoric related to migration and refugees. During the political struggle, politicians use linguistic means and communicative strategies to manipulate public opinion. The aim of the study is to analyze the linguistic means used by politicians in the migration discourse. The analysis of the representation of migration and migrants in the political discourse of Russia and Czechia in a comparative aspect is carried out.
