Grass's utilization for energetic effects
HOSPODÁŘSKÝ, Radek
This thesis presents a comparison of energy and determination of the suitability of grasses for energy purposes. The labour has the characteristics of agricultural technologies and selected energy grasses. Furthermore, it describes harvesting and biomass yield, processing technology and uses of biomass. The application compares the selected types of energy crops and outputs are depicted graphically. According to the information gathered is the best energy crop for use Chinese Miscanthus (Miscanthus), since it has the highest yield, highest yield and calorific value. Remain at the 10 to 15 years. The disadvantage is its economic performance, but the difference in cost compared to other grass not as large as those of the pros of grass
Electronic Control Unit for Engines and its Diagnostics
ČERVENKA, Petr
This paper summarizes information to be used to gain background knowledge related to the control systems of the spark-ignition combustion engines of cars and their diagnostics. The essentials part of this paper includes the explanation of the principles of each part of the systems. Next part includes explanation of the serial and parallel diagnostics including examples of diagnostics measurements. Last part this paper is engaged in the measuring technology.
The use and disposal of the cinders from wooden masses and bio-wastes combustion
Hanzlíček, Tomáš ; Perná, Ivana
The results of the 2009 year were focused on knowledge showing and proving that the bio-cinders do not contain the toxic or dangerous elements. Their composition of calcium and potassium salts predestinates the ashes as fertilizers. The composition of offered fertilizer was protected by patent proposal.
Contemporary progress in the domain of combustion and flame related research is reached mainly by applying approaches of mathematical modelling and experimental methods in different physical scales. Laminar flames simulated in laboratory conditions involve some aspects of real combustion systems (e.g. fires and explosions). Experimental studies thus represent suitable tool for better understanding of combustion processes or for solving the partial issues relevant to large scale accidental phenomena.
Combustion of Volatile Organic Compounds over Oxide Catalysts
Čuba, Pavel
The overview of VOC total oxidation of volatile organic compounds (VOC) at low and high temperatures, the basic reaction mechanisms, ways of reactant adsorption and methods of Cu, Ni, Co, Mn metal oxides characterization (XRD, TPR, SBET, DTA, XPS) are documented.
Pop Formation at Co-combustion of Wastes and Coal
Veselý, Václav ; Punčochář, Miroslav ; Čech, B.
Co-combustion of PVC and coal produced from 8 to 25 ngTEQ/m3. Formation of p-dioxine is eliminated by addition SO2/SO3. The main influence on concentration PCDD is equilibrium SO2 ů SO3 and HCl ů Cl2. Formation of dibenzofuranes is independed on concentration SO2/SO3.
Properties of Calcined Hydrotalcite-Like Compounds and Their Effect on Catalytic Combustion of VOC
Čuba, Pavel ; Jirátová, Květa
Acidic and basic properties and catalytic properties of mixed oxides prepared from M(II)-Mg-Al and Mg-M(III)-Al hydrotalcites in which M(II)=Cu, Co, or Ni and M(III)=Fe or Mn were explored. Effect of the properties on selectivity of cumbustion reaction carried out with organic compounds of different polarity was also examined.
Evaluation of Properties of a Combustion Catalyst
Jirátová, Květa ; Rymeš, Jan
Physical-chemical properties of an industrial PtPd catalyst and its activity in combustion of toluene were evaluated.
