Elements of experimental equipment for research energy recovery of vehicles
Vašíček, Jakub ; Jurík, Miroslav (referee) ; Nevrlý, Josef (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on selection of hydraulic components for experimental device – stand for research on hydrostatic recovery of kinetic energy of heavy vehicles for civil engineering, public transportation or utility. Main supplier of hydraulic components is – Bosch Rexroth. Thesis primary pays attention to selection and comparation of hydraulic components, it does not deal witch construction or mathematical model. Part of this thesis is concerned with future development in the field of hydrostatic recovery of energy. Main purpose of experimental stand is simulation of operational conditions of heavy vehicles, to gather information about efectivity of energy recovery and to help in making suggestions in construct solution for chosen conditions. Concrete output is analysis of suitability and construct solution for road roller AMMANN AP 240 H.
Alternative powertrains of vehicles
Filip, Vojtěch ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is the analysis of most common alternative drive systems currently used in cars, their comparison with the current gasoline and diesel engines. Familiarization with the technical solutions of drives, their categorization into several groups according to the specific key features. It also deals the most important components of an alternative fuels automobiles, respecting their strengths and also weaknesses that currently hinder expansion of these propulsions, economically as well as technically.
Simulation of the energy recovery circuit function
Kubíček, Ondřej ; Ficza, Ildikó (referee) ; Nevrlý, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes the design and optimization of a mathematical model for simulating the hydrostatic energy recovery systems. The mathematical model together with the experimental stand should be used to simulate the operating conditions of vehicles using the hydrostatic energy transmission. These include vehicles for collection of municipal waste, public transport vehicles, or for heavy construction machinery. The paper summarizes the current efforts in the design of analytical models, describes the program developed in MATLAB, and is devoted to analyzing the influence of individual input parameters on the output calculation.
Modern hybrid drive of passenger vehicles
Švoma, Jan ; Blaťák, Ondřej (referee) ; Vančura, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the current hybrid-drives in passenger cars. The thesis contains the categorization of hybrid systems according to structure and use. It also discusses the analysis of individual components and describes their suitability for use in different situations. It is focused on current offering of hybrid vehicles and development opportunities. At the end of are evaluated economic aspects and prospects for the use of these systems in the future.
INSTALLATION REGENERATIVE EQUIPMENT INTO A VEHICLE
Svršek, Michal ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Vopařil, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to prepare an overview of current knowledge and trends in energy recovery system of motor vehicles. The content is primarily a function of basic system, components and recovery of kinetic and thermal energy. The next section deals with the built-in specific device in a vehicle with an evaluation in terms of economic and environmental returns.
Recuperation systems in automotive technology
Běhoun, Lukáš ; Repka, Martin (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to examine the methods of energy recuperation in the automotive technology. The first section explores the historical development of the recuperation systems spanning from the end of the 19th century to the present day. The second section is following with the division of the recuperation systems in accordance with the method of their energy storage and their transmission. This is consecutively supported by three examples of use for each of the systems. The third section offers a comparison of the individual cumulative units. Furthermore, it offers a comparison of all the types of systems used in bus transportation. The fourth section analyses the fuel consumption by a bus without a recuperation system and by an identical bus with the Bosch Rexroth recuperation system. This is supported by calculations. Subsequently, the above systems are scrutinized from an economical point of view. The last part deals with the possible development of recuperation systems in the future.
Modification of pump for turbine regime
Jahn, Jan ; Veselý, Jindřich (referee) ; Haluza, Miloslav (advisor)
Hydraulic design of a hydrodynamic machine is designed to achieve a high value of energy transformation efficiency. Pumps and turbines have some different typical features in hydraulic design. With the aid of computational fluid dynamics, adjustments of the hydraulic parts of a standard centrifugal pump are assessed with the aim to increase hydraulic efficiency of the pump running as turbine. The impeller, volute casing and added draft tube are discussed.
Determination of efficiency of hydraulic drive with recuperation
Kobza, Michal ; Robenek, Dětřich (referee) ; Nevrlý, Josef (advisor)
In the first part of the thesis is determined efficacy criterion for the individual operating modes of the experimental stand with energy recovery and subsequently are evaluated the records of individual measurements. Energy savings are calculated with using energy recovery. The second part describes the process of digitizing relative fuel consumption map of the engine. Results are confronted with a real application engine in the road roller Ammann AP 240 H. In addition, the master thesis describes the creation of hydrostatic converter block in the program MATLAB/Simulink 2012b. Creating block can be used in the development of simulation models.
Digitally controlled multi-quadrant power supply
Chytil, Jiří ; Štekl, Petr (referee) ; Kubíček, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deal with design of multi-quadrant power supply in linear and switching mode. In the case of the switching mode energy recuparation is also considered as well as optimalization of change of load response over time. Power supplies are designed as general purpose laboratory and process power supplies. Power supplies are designed so that they can be connected via galvanic insulated USB interface with a PC
Design of Turbocharger for Energy Recovery
Kadleček, Jiří ; Dundálek, Radim (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
Diploma thesis deals with the use of residual energy in the exhaust gas through turbine generators. It is a turbine connected to a generator of electricity, which is inserted into the exhaust pipe. The aim of this thesis is to discover how much power turbine generator in the application produces and assess its applicability in practice.
