Pulse flow of liquid in flexible tube
Komoráš, Miroslav ; Šedivý, Dominik (referee) ; Klas, Roman (advisor)
This master’s thesis is dealing with analysis of fluid flow pulse in a flexible tube representing e.g. an artery in a human body. In ANSYS program, 3D simulations were performed, and these are so-called interrelated FSI analysis. In Maple software, 1D simulations of fluid flow in the tube were performed for various thin-walled and thick-walled variants. The aim is using these programs to determine the flow rates and pressures in the tube, its wall deformation and stress. Therefore, the theoretical part deals mainly with basic equations of flow dynamics, linear and nonlinear models and rotationally symmetric vessels. In the computational part are described individual procedures in the mentioned programs.
Damping of Pressure Pulsations in Elastic Pipes
Panko, Martin ; Pochylý, František (referee) ; Habán, Vladimír (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with numerical simulation of pressure pulsations in elastic pipes. Continuity relation of fluid in elastic pipes, when calculating some damping in pipe material, is derived into practice. Rheological model of such a pipe corresponds to Voigt (Kelvin) model. For analysing dynamic effects in time periods are used numerical methods that deal with flow of compressible fluid: FTCS, Lax-Friedrichs and Lax-Wendroff method. The numerical results are confronted with the experiment. During the experiment simulation the method considers speed of sound in liquid like a function of pressure. This diploma thesis lays partial principles for finding elastic constants for describing dynamic characteristics of elastic pipes by measuring the pressure pulsations.
High Frequency Pulsation of Water Turbine in Operation
Kubálek, Jiří ; Kozubková, Milada (referee) ; Hružík, Lumír (referee) ; Haluza, Miloslav (advisor)
This thesis is concentrated on mathematical modeling of high frequency pulsations in pump turbines, which are the source of high-cycle continuous stress of the spiral casing cover, wicket gates and runner. There are proposed the solutions using the transfer matrix for the tube with a constant and conical cross-section. The paper compares variations of cylindrical and conical tubes, changes in boundary conditions. There are the models of PSPP Dlouhé Stráně made only of cylindrical tubes comparing to the model with cylindrical and conical tubes
Radial piston pump
Kapoun, Lukáš ; Šperka, Oldřich (referee) ; Klas, Roman (advisor)
This bachelor thesis contains a basic division of hydraulic pumps. Different types of these hydraulic pumps are presented along with basic computational equations and characteristics. The main part of this thesis is devoted to the description of design of radial piston pump including modifications and kinematics of its operation. The size of pulsation flow, influence of hydraulic pump parameters on their size and continuity of working fluid supply are observed. The thesis is concluded with the evaluation of the issues concerned and supplemented with graphs.
