Topos of Prague in the work of selected French surrealist poets

The main objective of this bachelor thesis is to show the topos of Prague in selected works of French surrealist poets connected with Prague, such as Guillaume Apollinaire, Philippe Soupault, André Breton, Paul Éluard and Louis Aragon. The thesis aims to reveal the components of the poetics of city in the given poems or texts and their gradual development, either the coherence or its lack. It will also put into the context the French and Czech relations at that time, mainly with the focus on the literary circles.
