This master’s thesis deals with the influence of innovation activities on foreign trade of a particular company. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with knowledge from the field of competitiveness, international trade and innovation. The second, practical part of the thesis analyses the influence of the performed innovation on the foreign trade of the company in the form of sales, operating profit and ROA, established and tested hypotheses. The aim of the thesis is, based on the assessment of the impact of product innovation on foreign trade, to propose appropriate measures in the field of foreign or domestic market for a particular company.

Localized economics as one of the tools to address the social impact of unemployment in the South Bohemia region

I focused on the solving of the unemployment social impacts in the South Bohemian region via located economy in my thesis. According to the latest surveys unemployment is on the lowest level from the year 1996 both in the South Bohemian region and the Czech Republic. Nevertheless, there are certain groups of people who are threatened by unemployment. Moreover, current positive development of the unemployment cannot be considered as a permanent status. My thesis is divided into two parts. In the theoretical part I focused on the term of local economy, its tools, principles and furthermore I concentrate myself on the possibilities of incorporation people into the working process. Following part deals with global economy issues that have a negative impact on the local economy. Then I concentrate myself on the enterprise entities in the Czech Republic, their ownership structure, legal forms of enterprise and a development of business environment when a support of small and middle businesses can play an important role in the process of creating new job positions. The aim of my thesis is to map tools of local economy and a description of their usage, while emphasizing the business unit´s division, the possibilities of their development and creation of new job positions in the defined South Bohemian companies. With respect to the aim and specific characteristics of the defined group I chose a method of survey done via semi-structured interviews. Defined group is formed by chosen companies with Czech ownership in the South Bohemian region. For completing the employment data, I executed semi-structured interviews with two officers of České Budějovice Labor Office chosen with simple intentional choice. The results of my survey show that the defined companies with Czech ownership in the South Bohemian region are not enough motivated to create new job positions because (as the survey shows) the more employees they have the higher financial budget they need. Unfortunately, this extra budget is not available. Therefore, local companies cannot serve as a pillar against increase of unemployment in the context of current forms of enterprise support. The thesis may serve as a study material for students of Health and Social Faculty in the town České Budějovice or as an informational material for Labor Office CZ and representatives of South Bohemian region.
Coollaboration of Stakeholders in a Tourism Destination

The aim of the thesis Collaboration of Stakeholders in a Tourism Destination is to evaluate the level and intensity of cooperation in tourism in the South Bohemian Region from the perspective of key stakeholders in the destination, including the management and development relationship of tourism in the destination. In the first part of the research, the information concerning the destination management and marketing, the stakeholders and their cooperation was obtained with the help of secondary data. For the collection of secondary data, printed literature and websites were mainly used in connection with the selected tourism destination - the South Bohemian Region. Based on the findings from the literature and other secondary sources, the collection of primary data was planned in the form of a questionnaire survey. It has become clear that the destination marketing organizations, which best meet the attributes of power, legitimacy and urgency, are the key stakeholder. According to the research, it was found out that the cooperation between the public and private sectors is significantly inadequate. There are several major obstacles that prevent effective cooperation among the particular stakeholders. To improve the cooperation, it is necessary to streamline the communication between the organizations and other stakeholders and to plan a project within the tourism industry, which will help with the cooperation among as many stakeholders as possible.

The work deals with the inventory management in project Deuta in company Metra Blansko. It deals with the analysis of present inventory management situation, especially through the use of ABC-analysis. On the basis of executed analyses are made recommendations to ensure the improvement in inventory management.

This bachelor thesis deals with the process of cooperation between the municipal authorities and a bussines subject. The thesis describes the main problems which are caused by long-lasting cooperation during realization of the provided service. The theoretical part is focused on the characteristic of a bussines subject and the summary of main characters of the municipal authorities. Then it delimit criteria of research which are used in the practical part of this thesis. These criteria are evaluating values for research of the selected municipal authorities. The practical part summarises the cooperation of the company Kinematograf bratří Čadíků s. r. o. with the representatives of the cities. In this part there is the empiric scale of the evaluation of communication problems. The reults of the practical part are used for description of main communication problems between the subjects and for a subsequent concept of solution.
