Lexical cohesion in Classical Greek
Kodetová, Jana ; Muchnová, Dagmar (advisor) ; Bakyta, Ján (referee)
This Bachelor's thesis is focused on lexical cohesion and its types. Furthermore, it deals with the effect of these types in a Greek text. The goal of this thesis was firstly to map the individual approaches to issue of lexical cohesion, secondly, based on the secondary literature, submit the summary of types of lexical cohesion, and thirdly, the goal was to apply these types to a specific Greek text, classify them and compare them in terms of the frequency. The first part deals generally with both grammatical and lexical cohesion. Subsequently, the cohesion is being compared along with the coherence connected therewith. In the second part, there are analyses of the lexical cohesion types, complemented by examples taken from a Greek text.
