Apartment Building in Poděbrady
Hlídková, Jana ; Král, Jakub (referee) ; Pěnčík, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with a draft of an apartment building in Poděbrady. A corner building site that is about 1 km north of the city centre was chosen for the apartment building. It is a four-storey building with a basement, it has an irregular shape, where some walls are not rectangular, and it is covered with a green roof. There are 16 apartments of various sizes on the above floors, and a utility room and a cellar can be found in the basement of the house. Considering the shape and layout solutions, the vertical and horizontal supporting structures are made of reinforced concrete. The perimeter walls are compositely insulated with basalt wool and plastered with a scratched façade plaster of creamy and grey-brown colour. Internal non-load-bearing walls are made up according to the Ytong system. The window openings are filled with wood-aluminium windows and the entrance doors are made of aluminium. The building is based on a reinforced concrete baseplate. The apartment building is designed with respect to the surrounding area. The bachelor thesis also includes assessments in terms of fire risk, energy saving and heat protection, acoustics and vibrations, lighting and sunlight.
Mixed-use Building
Jaroš, Radek ; Havířová, Zdeňka (referee) ; Lavický, Miloš (advisor)
The subject of the master´s thesis is a project documentation of a mixed-use building within the scope of the implementation documentation. The main goal of the thesis is the design of the layout, construction and material solution, completed by design of the fire safety solutions and assessment in terms of building physics. The mixed-use building is designed as a stand-alone building with one underground floor and three above-ground floors. In the underground floor there is an area for mass parking, the main technical facilities of the building and other associated spaces. On the 1st above-ground floor, there is another area for mass parking, two commercial spaces (a cafe and a stationery store), the technical facilities of the building and other associated spaces. On the 2nd floor there are two separate administrative operations with large offices and associated spaces, the remaining area of the floor is occupied by a generous terrace. On the 3rd above-ground floor there are identical operations as on the 2nd floor with the exception of the terrace. The construction system is designed as a reinforced concrete monolithic skeleton supplemented with a reinforcing reinforced concrete core for two elevator shafts and further supplemented with reinforcing peripheral beams. The ceiling structures are reinforced concrete monolithic locally supported slabs. The building is founded on the reinforced concrete slab placed on drilled shafts. The outer wall is predominantly made of ground brick blocks or reinforced concrete monolithic walls with an external thermal insulation composite system and, to a lesser extent, of a curtain walling, which is made from a mullion-transom system. The roof is designed as a flat roof with a vegetation layer.
Hotel in Luhačovice
Tejzr, Martin ; Burianová, Lenka (referee) ; Petříček, Tomáš (advisor)
The final thesis is focused on a newly-built hotel with wellness in Luhačovice. Luhačovice is a spa town in the region of Zlín. The plot is situated on the outskirts of the town in a mildly built-up area. The terrain is sloping with a view of the town. The building is divided into three operating parts – wellness, restaurant with café and premises for temporary accomodation. The structure is a four-story building with a cellar. The building foundations are based on the reinforced concrete foundation slab. The load-bearing structures of the basement and the ground floor are formed by reinforced concrete walls complemented by reinforced concrete columns. Upper storeys are designed in the system of Porotherm. The floor structure is cast-in-place reinforced concrete. The building is roofed with green roof.
Apartment house Proluka in Olomouc
Přidal, Petr ; Šteffek, Libor (referee) ; Ostrý, Milan (advisor)
The task of the bachelor thesis was to process the documentation for the new apartment building with almost zero energy consumption. The apartment building is located in Olomouc, in a terraced development, in the gap site. The building is oriented to the northeast and southwest. The apartment building is designed as a basement with four floors. In the basement, there are three separate garages, storage rooms, and rooms for the technical operation of the building. A total of eight residential units are designed on the upper floors. Each apartment has a balcony or terrace. Barrier-free vertical transport is provided by an elevator located in the mirror of the staircase. The building is based on a reinforced concrete foundation slab. The vertical structures are made of sand-lime masonry. Horizontal load-bearing structures are reinforced concrete monolithic. The roof of the building is the gable. The apartment house is insulated with mineral wool insulation.
Load bearing reinforced concrete structure of apartment house
Ruber, Lukáš ; Krůpa, Pavel (referee) ; Girgle, František (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis is the design of the underground parts of the building. Part of this thesis is to comapare alternative designs and subsequentli evaluate the interaction of the upper structure with subsoil and pile fundantion. A detailed static assessment and implementation documentation is then prepared for the selected variant. The design of the base plate and reinforced concrete walls of the underground section are designed with respect to the crack width according to the principles for designing the white box. The theoretical part contains principles for designing and implementing a white box and evaluating design variants.
