Slovene National Theatre in Ljubljana

The aim of the project is to conceive a new theatre house in the Ljubljana city centre. The proposed location is Južni trg (Southern Square) next to Congress Square. The designed building is situated in the carré. The outside contour of the carré is determinated by the important public space coordinates: Slovenska Street, Congress Square, Knafelj passage, Vegova Street, Čopova Street, Wolfova Street. On the southern side the carré borders with Zvezda Park which creates nature cultural and recreational space and supports new public spaces arising from the new theatre building. The shape of the building consists of three skewed forms which are spatially and functionally connected. The roof surface forms a system of ramps which are opened for the public. It is possible to climb from the parterre of the theatre to the highest platform of the structure. From the roof there is a nice view of the city and The castle of Ljubljana.

Samojízdné sklízecí stroje v rostlinné výrobě

Diploma thesis deals with problematic of self-propelled harvesting machines in agricultural production. Teoretic part includes history of the combain harvesting in Czech and the world, analysis of the harvesting systems, comparison between axial and tangential apparatus with summary of solutions for precision agriculture. Practical part is focused on technical-economic comparison during harvest of grain and rape seeds and economic evaluation of the usage of John Deer and Class combain harvesters in the farm Agrospol Knínice. The conclusion contains results of the carried out technical and economical data collecting.

Application of National Award ČR for CSR in selected organization

Purpose of this paper is to analyze and evaluate selected organization for the Czech National Award in CSR. Data report for analyzing was completed in cooperation with management of the organization. Further data analysis was carried out according to the evaluation form, respecting Committed to Sustainability model. It resulted into feedback report, which provides steps of how to improve CSR for future evaluation of economic sustainability, enviromnent and social responsibility. Thesis is finished by point evaluation and overall conclusion.

The principle of fair criminal trial in the case-law of the European Court of Human Rights

One of the purposes of my thesis is to analyse a case-law of European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg (Court). Another purpose of that is to describe an attitude of Court as to the interpretation of Article 6 of European Convention of Human Rights (Convention). Previously mentioned purposes lead to find the meanings of abstract term "Right to fair trial" or "Right to fair proceedings", that is widely applicable to all phases of criminal proceeding. The thesis is composed of three chapters, each of them dealing with different aspects of the right to fair trial in the meaning of Convention. Chapter One describes a state of Convention in the Czech Legal System. Chapter Two enlarges legal effects of Court 's judgements, that are binging on beneficiaries of Convention. Chapter Three is the principal part. That is subdivided into the rights guaranteed to ones under Articles of Convention and into such kind of rights that are implicitly found by Court in his case-law. There is also one chapter that is outstanding among these expressive and implicite rights. This chapter concerned with a conception of the fair proceedings as whole. Czech Legal System do not embody its meaning in any abstract act of state, so that it remains to tako place in case-law of Court. Conclusions contains abstract knowleges...

Availability of social services for seniors in the Karlovarsky region now and in 50 years

Master thesis aims to evaluate the accessibility of social services in Karlovarsky region. The thesis is focused on the demographics of seniors and social services intended for them, specifically retirement homes. In addition to analyzing the accessibility of social services is elaborated demographic projection of region's population over the next 50 years. In the theoretical part is described the definition of social policy and the fundamental theoretical principles, types and functions. This part also describes the legislative framework of social policy in the Czech Republic. In relation to social policy are presented issues of community planning as a tool for the implementation of social policy in the Karlovarsky region. The conclusion of theoretical part is devoted to the theory of demographic projections and describes the basic projection methods. The practical part in the introduction focuses on general and demographic characteristics of the Karlovarsky region and the current state of social services for the elderly, specifically homes for the elderly. The second half of the practical part presents a demographic projection of region's population over the next 50 years and is focusing on senior component whose proportion in the population will increase. This projection is calculated by the component method without migration. The conclusion of the practical part is comparing the initial state of social services and the anticipated development of seniors. It also describes community plan in the Karlovarsky region with emphasis on the development of social services for seniors. Documents drawn up by the Karlovarsky region on issues of social services and conclusions of this thesis suggest that there is no need to increase capacity, but rather to focus on the change in the structure of users and ensure that these services are provided to people whose health condition really requires this kind of complex social care.
