Draft of design and manufacturing technology for the enduro footrests

The diploma thesis is focused on draft of footrests for endure Honda Transalp XL700V of 2008. Attention is paid to the draft of the design of the footrest which is, which is designed for driving in light off-road. There is also described the issue if the choice of the material from aluminium alloy and the verification of the methods of the designed geometry using FEM and Rapid Prototyping. The experimental part deals with the design of appropriate tools and cutting conditions and with the creation of the NC program in ShopMill. There is enclosed the technical documentation and the NC program in the final part.

This bachelor thesis is focused on measuring methods in process of machining. The object of this work is making summary of measuring methods. The thesis consists of two parts. First part focuses on measuring means for the inspection and the measuring outside the machine tool. The second part provides summary of application of measuring probes, which are used directly in the machine tool.

The 2007 credit crisis: causes, evolution, and its consequences

In August 2007, a financial crisis started and spread all over the developed world, as a result of the collapse of structured financial products that were connected to the defaulting sub-prime segment of American mortgage market. This diploma thesis is divided into six chapters. After a brief overview of recent financial crises and basic models of such crises in chapter 1, chapter 2, characterizing the global macroeconomic situation in 2000s, follows. The next part - chapter 3 - analyzes the American housing market, its main features and the recent development - the housing bubble. The mortgage market is discussed, as well. Further in chapter 4, the phenomenon of securitization and structured products is described. Chapter 5 focuses on the development on financial markets in 2007 and at the beginning of 2008, too - that means it describes the situation before the crises and the crises itself. Finally, Chapter 8 offers an overview of the main causes of the market breakdown. Moreover, signals foreseeing the turmoil are discussed, as well as its possible consequences.

In my work I mainly deal with determining the resistance forces on the blade to the workpiece for turning in different conditions. These included the change in the speed of the workpiece, cutting geometry different depth and different depth of cut on the workpiece surface. For this measurement was used beechwood for their relatively homogeneous structure. Measurements were made using instruments Kistler and the measured data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel. Further presentations were prepared for possible academic uses, which are attached to the data carrier (CD).

Kvalita povrchu při broušení tepelně zpracovaného dřeva ThermoWood®

This work is focused on evaluation of the surface quality of hydrothermally modified Thermowood® after sanding. Surface quality of the sanded material is evaluated according to the applied changes of cutting conditions. For comparison, this measurement is also done on pine wood. Surface roughness evaluation was performed using the KEYENCE device. The measured data were further evaluated using Microsoft Excel. Optimal conditions were chosen from the evaluated data.
