Several Aspects of a Foreign Language at a Pre-School Age

The dissertation deals with some of the aspects of foreign languages in preschool education and is based on the practical experiences of teaching in the Czech Republic, England and France. The theoretical part of the diploma work point out the historical context of language education, the specifics of a child's preschool period and poses some of the questions connected with languages in preschool age, such as method of education, conditions, duration of a lesson, qualification of the lecturers, returns, cooperation with the family etc. The practical part of the diploma work presents concrete results of the pedagogical investigation, which is focused on the current situation in Prague's kindergartens and on conditions for languages at preschool age.
