Utilisation of recycling machines in complex approach to waste treatment
Vlček, Zdeněk ; Turek, Vojtěch (referee) ; Bělohradský, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with a comprehensive approach to address the waste management system with the use of recycling machines. The work is divided into five chapters. The first chapter deals with waste such as ecological and economic problems. The second chapter examines the basic types of waste recycling. The third chapter concerns the legislation related to the management of waste. The fourth chapter contains a comparison of waste management and other EU countries. The last chapter contains the selected types of machines used in recycling.
Safety Analysis of the Industrial Establishment.
Vlček, Zdeněk ; Rychlíková, Dagmar (referee) ; Tabasová, Andrea (advisor)
This thesis deals with the assessment of safety of an industrial complex. The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter deals with basic information referring to an industrial complex and dangerous chemicals substances. The second chapter is devoted to the description of selective methods of CPR 18E. The third chapter is to identify risk sources of a serious accident in the industrial complex. The fourth chapter contains a general description of the HAZOP method. The last part represents a detailed analysis of risk sources of the serious accident by means of the HAZOP method and proposals for preventive measures.
Connectivity / Democratic City_Radnice pro Staré Brno
Juřičková, Adéla ; Vlček, Zuzana (referee) ; Nový, Vítězslav (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the design of the town hall in the center of Old Brno, on Mendel Square. The work is based on the situation of the new urban concept of Mendel Square, which is part of the assignment. The goal is to design an office for Old Brno on the theme of connectivity/democratic city on a predetermined parcel that replaces the tram loop. The town hall shouldn't just be a boring, cluttered space that closes out of office hours, it should be open to people. It should connect and offer different ways of use. The purpose of the project is to revive Mendel Square and to find ways to connect the concepts of town hall/connectivity/democratic city and create a pleasant space for officials and visitors.
Development of a Pilot Plant for Reduction Hg Emission from Large Power Plant.
Pilař, L. ; Vlček, Z. ; Zseliga, Z. ; Veselý, Václav
The contribution introduces the project TACR TA04020723, Development of a pilot plant for monitoring of Hg emissions reduction from large and medium capacity energy sources. The project responds to the new EU BAT legislative, where both emission limits for Hg concentration in flue gas and continual Hg concentration measurement requirements are stated. The objective of the contribution is an introduction of the project and the results gained in 2014. Analyses of certain lignite and coal samples were done to specify the Hg amount and balance of other compounds concentration was calculated with regard to the specifics of combustion process of a particular power source. At the end of 2014, a measurement was carried out at the large power plant. Hg concentrations were measured in the combustion products and were compared with balance calculation.

Development of a Pilot Plant for Reduction Hg Emission from Large Power Plant.
Pilař, L. ; Vlček, Z. ; Zseliga, Z. ; Veselý, Václav ; Zbieg, R. ; Fiser, A.
This paper deals with the implementation process of the project of the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic (TAČR) ALFA TA04020723. Development of a pilot plant for monitoring of Hg emissions reduction from large and medium capacity energy sources. The project currently responds to the emerging EU BAT legislation, which sets emission limits for Hg concentration in flue gas. The subject of the paper is presentation of the project's results for 2015. The scope of project activities in 2015 included measurements in energydfacilities while defining the balance of Hg concent rations in the combustion products. The project's main objective in 2015 was to build and commission the pilot plant for the oxidation of the free form of Hg0 into the oxidized form of Hg2+.
