Unusual Musical Instruments and Their Use in Kindergarten for Rhythmic Ability Development of Preschool Children

This bachelor thesis is dedicated to the topic of unusual musical instruments and their use in kindergarten for rhytmic ability development of preschool children. The aim of the theoretical part is the current view of musical education in accordance with the needs of preschool age and the terms of Framework Educational Programme for Preschool Education. The work takes into account developmental peculiarities and the development of individual musical skills and traits of children. We can also find how does music influence the personality of a child and its development as well as the systematization of unusual musical instruments for children, which are followingly classified in the context of Orff´s method. A programme for getting familiar with playing an unusual musical instruments approved in the nursery school practice is introduced in the practical part of the thesis. Another important point is the advantages and disadvantages of manufacturing and usage of unusual musical instruments. The whole of the programme is divided into ten lectures based on topics in accordance with Classroom Educational Programme for Preschool Education as well as the manufacture of an unusual musical instruments along with the motivation and the realisation of the activity. Reflection with children and self-reflection of the teacher is described at the end of each lecture.
