Housing Finance through a Combination of Mortgage and Investment
Richter, Jan ; Uchytil, Petr (referee) ; Ptáček, Roman (advisor)
This thesis deals with the financing of private housing in the Czech Republic and in it compared mortgages to specific examples. It explains how it is possible for a timely investment to save on interest and thus also to repay the loan sooner. Equally important is the explanation of how the applicant is to be ensured that in case of risk did not come on the property. The aim is to show prospective borrowers, how can ideally do to all of the above was successful.

Development of mobile applications for Android platform in Java programming language
Uchytil, Petr ; Pavlíčková, Jarmila (advisor) ; Pour, Jan (referee)
In the bachelor thesis the basics of application programming for the Android operating system are described. In this work Java programming language is used for programming. In the opening part of the thesis the structure of the Android operating system is briefly described. In the following chapters the typical architecture of android applications is explained. Particular components present in almost any Android application are described. The text in the next chapters deals with creation of graphical user interface and persistence. At the end of each chapter comparison with the Java SE platform is given. Finally, a practical application is presented.
Semi-Empirical Model of Toluene Transport in Polyethylene Membrane Based on the Data of New Type of Apparatus for Gas Permeability, Diffusivity and Solubility
Setničková, Kateřina ; Wagner, Zdeněk ; Noble, R.D. ; Uchytil, Petr
Solubility, diffusivity and permeability of toluene vapors in a low-density polyethylene (LDPE) membrane were measured using new type of permeation apparatus. The simple semi-empirical model of toluene transport in a polyethylene membrane based on relation between experimentally obtained effective diffusion coefficients and concentration dependent diffusion coefficients evaluated from experiments on new permeation apparatus was proposed.

Setničková, Kateřina ; Jeřábek, Karel ; Uchytil, Petr
This contribution deals with pervaporation vs. vapor permeation - differences in transport properties of the polymeric membrane.
Transport binární směsi adsorbujících se plynů ve Vycorovém skle
Čermáková, Jiřina ; Yang, J. ; Uchytil, Petr ; Seidel-Morgenstern, A.
Efficiency of the gas separation with porous ceramic membranes might be expected higher for gas mixtures of adsorbable and nonadsorbable components in comparison with mixtures of only nonadsorbable gases. The reason is the additional specific contribution of surface diffusion to the gas transfer through a membrane in the case of the existing adsorption of permeating substances. The transport of pure nonadsorbable gases in porous material was already well described [1]. This work deals with the transport of binary adsorbable gases through porous Vycor glass. The transport of adsorbable gases in such pores is considered to be contributed by both gas phase and surface diffusion. The measurements were performed using a modified Wicke-Kallenbach cell possessing a closed and an open chambers [2, 3].
