The topic of this bachelor thesis is the design of baby scales for medical facilities. The aim is a design with an unique shape that meets the technical, ergonomic and safety requirements associated with weighing children. The work is based on the analysis of the current state of knowledge, the shape fits into the environment of pediatrics. The design guarantees safety for infants, the possibility of comfortable handling of the device and emphasizes aesthetics and visual friendliness.

The aim of the work is to create a design respecting technological and ergonomic requirements for safe and comfortable operation of the device. The design is based on the current state of knowledge, its shape respects the target environment of the device and is focused on details that provide the patient and hospital staff with comfort. Important design elements are cover of the pressure capsule, incorporating the compressor and auxiliary accessories into the overall shaping and increasing the general aesthetic level of the device compared to competing products.
