Edita Knotková Title of the bachelor thesis: Options of Motivation to Exercise in Preschool Children with Diastasis Recti Abdominis Abstract: Motivation is one of the factors that affects the outcome of physical therapy, Motivation increases patient compliance during therapy and the associated adherence to exercise outside therapy. This thesis deals with the motivation to exercise and movement in general in preschool children. The goal was to search for possible motivational options that can be used to motivate children to move and then select those that correspond to the conditions of physical therapy. The practical part of this thesis is research, in which the influence of selected motivational options (motivational graphic cards and non-directive therapy) on children's motivation was examined. The children completed two individual therapies with the same exercises. The first took place without motivational options and the second with them. Motivation was assessed as the children's cooperation with the therapist (using a questionnaire for parents), the duration of the total therapy (by measuring time) and the children's subjective assessment (by graphic scale). 27 probands diagnosed with diastasis recti abdominis, on whom...

Monika Tichá Title: Physiotherapy for a pacient with frozen shoulder syndrome Abstract: The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of frozen shoulder syndrome, which is becoming an increasingly common cause of shoulder joint disability. The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The aim of the thesis is to develop a therapeutic plan for patients with frozen shoulder syndrome, based on the results of the searched studies and its use on patients. The theoretical part briefly describes the anatomy and kinesiology of the shoulder komplex. Furthermore, the syndrome itself, its definition, history, etiopathogenesis, clinical picture, differential diagnosis and treatment are thoroughly described. The practical part includes case reports of 2 probands diagnosed with frozen shoulder syndrome. The case reports include the initial and final complex kinesiological analysis and a description of the therapies that were chosen on the basis of the results obtained in the theoretical part. The kinesiological analysis focused mainly on the range of active and passive range of motion in the shoulder joint and the characteristics of pain in this area. Milan Šebek Title: Physiotherapy for Spinal muscular atrophy in childhood Abstract: The work has a theoretical and practical part. The target of this work is to compile individual physiotherapeutic program for patients with Spinal Muscular Atrophy in childhood. The theoretical part deals with a general introduction to the issue of alpha motoneuron and its involvement with hereditary degenerative diseases. Section of the theoretical part is the anatomy and physiology related to this issue. Furthermore, the issues related to Spinal Muscular Atrophy - classification, clinical forms, clinical picture and course, pathogenesis and diagnostics, are elaborated. In the theoretical part I also deal with the current possibilities of rehabilitation and physiotherapy in such patients. Silvie Táborská Title of the bachelor thesis: The importance of core stabilization for track and field throwers Abstract: This bachelor thesis deals with throwers' core stabilization in athletics. Theoretical part described basics of throw, individual throwers' athletic disciplines, factors influencing sport performances, postural functions and core stabilization. Practical part includes case studies of three probands. Target group was created by young athletes competing in at least one throwers' discipline. Therapeutical intervention was focused on improving core stabilization and took 10 weeks with therapy 2 times a week. The results were analysed based on examination of postural stabilization according to Kolář, chosen functional test and comparison of best achieved results before intervention in seasons 2019, 2020 and 2021 to best achieved results after intervention in season 2021. Standardized examinations of spasticity in physiotherapy

Title: Standardized examinations of spasticity in physiotherapy Abstract: This bachelor's thesis is aimed at giving an overview of the most commonly used standardized examinations of spasticity in physiotherapy and their comparison. It deals mainly with the best known methods of examinations that are used in practice. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part, muscle tone and its regulation and spasticity as one of the upper motor neurone syndrome symptoms are specified. Moreover, the methods of examination (Ashworth scale and its modifications, Tardieu scale and five-step clinical assessment of spastic paresis according to Gracies) are presented and described in detail there. The practical part contains two case reports of patients after a cerebrovascular accident. Examinations and evaluations of spasticity, including Modified Frenchay scale or walk tests, which are described in the theoretical part, are applied to patients. The main contribution of this thesis is to create a comprehensive comparison of standardized examinations of spasticity through studies and my personal experience. Title of bachelor thesis: Comparison of standardized gait evaluation tests for post-stroke patients from physiotherapy point of view Abstract: This bachelor thesis deals with a comparison of standardized gait evaluation tests for post-stroke patients. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on stroke, walking in general, characteristics of hemiparetic gait, standardization and standardized tests. The practical part provides the comparison of standardized gait evaluation tests for post-stroke patients from the viewpoint of essential characteristics and qualitative point of view. This part also contains case reports of two patients, in which the gait was evaluated using the selected standardized tests (10 Meter Walk Test, 2 Minute Walk Test, Timed Up and Go, Dynamic Gait Index) and one non-standardized test (Emory Functional Ambulation Profile). These tests were performed at the beginning and at the end of the therapy. Their results were subsequently evaluated and compared. The interpretation of the results in the context of measurement errors, minimal detectable changes and values describing the improvement or deterioration of patient's condition is emphasized in this bachelor thesis. Title: The use of electrotherapy to influence spasticity in patients after stroke Abstract: The theme of bachelor thesis is the use of electrotherapy to influence spasticity in pacients after stroke. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part there is described the issue concerning stroke, regulation of muscles tention and spasticity. Mostly there is stated performed research of accessible literary sources on the theme electrotherapy with antispastic effect. These findings come out mostly of the results of foreign studies, which are being mutually compared. Pratical part contains of two case reports of patients, who suffered a stroke and spasticity m. triceps surae has occured in them. On the concrete muscle the stimulation according to Janstch is being applicated for five days. The impact on spasticity is being observed, the spasticity had been examined by using the scale Five-step clinical assessment according to Gracies before the first therapy and instantly after the fifth therapy. Further the changes of parameters, which are desribed by the stated scale, had been observed. Monika Tichá Title: Use of selected concepts for active release of myofascial tissue Abstract: The theoretical part of the work first describes the morphology and physiology of fascial tissue, briefly describes the muscle tissue. Furthermore there are introduced and desribed selected concepts affecting myofascial tissues of the musculoskeletal system, which use the active participation of the patient in therapy. The theoretical part of the work includes the concept of Fascial release technique, the concept of Fascial fitness and methods of myofascial autotherapy. The practical part of the bachelor thesis evaluates the concept of Fascial release technique during physiotherapeutic intervention in two patients with pain in the dorsal part of the lower limbs of functional origin. The concept of Fascial release technique was evaluated according to the data from the input and output kinesiological analysis of the treated patients, subjectively evaluated by the patients through questionnaires and from the perspective of the therapist. Title: Effect of Jiu-Jitsu on children motor development from the perspective of physiotherapy By using Acral coactivation therapy Abstract: This bachelor thesis focuses on the effect of Jiu-Jitsu and Acral coactivation therapy on the motor skills of children of school age. The thesis consists of a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part gives a brief description of motor control, summarizes the research concerning motor skill development of children of school age, and provides a classification of motor skills. The theoretical part also introduces Jiu-Jitsu martial art and Acral coactivation therapy method. The practical part describes a three-month-long collaboration with ten children chosen from a Jiu-Jitsu training group. These ten children were split into two groups. One group practiced solely Jiu-Jitsu while the children from the second group practiced Jiu-Jitsu with added elements of ACT. Motor skill tests and ACT acras diagnoses were conducted at the beginning and end of a set time period. The goal of this thesis is an evaluation of the results of the Jiu-Jitsu and Acral coactivation therapy exercise conducted over a three month period.
