Offer process optimization

This master’s thesis concerns optimization of quotation process. It describes mapping of value stream by VSM Method (value stream mapping) in practical way in order to minimize cost. Further on it describes three points of view method when surveying and modifying process. It analyses process on three levels and describes suitable solution which makes process smoother and more effective. At the conclusion of this diploma project belongs evaluation of realised solutions and measures that need to be taken in future.
Necessity of quality management

The aim of this thesis is to provide through retrospective seach1 an objective view on given topic of quality management. For this purpose were selected particular data and subjects from book notations and documents. Since quality management is a dynamic process, which is concerned with wide range of problems, it is due to development of new technologies and knowledge innovated continuously. Even in this moment, when you are reading following chapters, there are new circumstances all around the word, with which this discipline will have to deal with.
Risk analysis in conformity assesment process

When presenting a product within the so-called regulated sphere the producer is obliged to keep to the given legal liabilities of the technical product requirements and the governmental regulations concerned. The producer is also to carry out an analysis of the technical requirements and specifications of the product. Subsequently, the producer also has to provide the technical specifications and documentation for preparation of ES declaration, guaranteeing that the product fulfills the CE requirements. The task is to design and set up documentation for the ES declaration for Polymount printer cleaning machines PPC mini, PPC M2, PPC L2 and PPC XL2.
Prediction of Warranty Costs

The thesis deals with warranty costs and their prediction when providing one-dimensional and two-dimensional warranties. This thesis focuses on the presentation of practically applied methods and procedures which enable suppliers and manufacturers to get the information necessary for rational decision making while providing warranties for complex products as early as in the initial stages of their life cycle. The thesis starts with a concise summary and evaluation of a present state of the issue. In the first part of the thesis the possibilities of warranty costs prediction for complex products are analyzed when using one-dimensional and namely two-dimensional quality warranties. In this part there is a detailed analysis of different possibilities when predicting systems and items reliability. Next, there is introduced the way of integrating warranty costs prediction into the FMEA/FMECA method. In the second part of the thesis there is specified the procedure for determining the moment of warranty period termination using two-dimensional warranty in case sufficient data from complaint procedure is not available. In the third part the time development of warranty costs and related measures are determined, and the way of prediction of their time development is suggested. The way of continuous monitoring, and evaluating warranty costs and related measures are also introduced in this part of the thesis.
Integrated management system

The thesis focuses on one particular organization and analyzes its options for introducing an integrated management system. The author takes a close look at the processes of that organization, and makes a list of all the important things that are related to the processes (including their limits and conditions) and that should be carefully considered when the directives and regulations of the organization are being made.

The products, which can be labelled with a mark of conformity are included in regulated sphere and they have to ful fill the given requirments before makrket introduction. This diploma thesis is dealing with the aspects which have to fulfilled before the nonautomatic weighing instruments from are introduced to the market. The diploma thesis also revises current methods and proceeds of conformity assessment on ES workplace of conformity assessment accordin to appropriate norms, documents and directives. The aim is also to make a new quality manual for the ES workplace of conformity assessment.

ALSTOM Group, the Division of boilers production, located in Brno. This thesis contains an analysis of current status of nonconformities control process and designs a new nonconformity control process using a new internal database for resolving of nonconformities. These measures should deal with the efficiency of the management of nonconformities process and reduce current company pains.
