Community Planning as the Way of the Public Participation in the Development of Selected Municipalities in the Region of South Bohemia

The diploma thesis is focused on the public participation in the municipality development through the community planning methods. The main goal is the evaluation of processes of public participation in the municipal planning documents preparation for some selected municipalities in the region of South Bohemia. These documents have been created on the principles of community planning. Among the documents belong strategic town plans, community plans for health and quality of life, and community plans of social services. The theoretical part is primarily focused on the issue of local development, community planning including its principles, historical links and legal foundations. Last but not least, there is a public participation process described in the theoretical part as well. At the end of the theoretical part, there is a theory of evaluation of the successful public participation in the planning process. The empirical part relates to the mentioned theory of the evaluation of the public participation methods. The empirical part contains the analysis of the public engagement in creating documents in three particular towns: Třeboň, Dačice and Český Krumlov. The analysis aims to the approach of mentioned towns in the case of public participation, measuring related costs, assessing the success of the process according to the assigned evaluation criteria and eventually on the mistakes identification. On the basis of this analysis there are the key, determining the successful community planning implementation, defined. According to the analysis new procedures are suggested.
Diary narration in short prose by Peter Handke

This work deals with short prose by Peter Handke: Das Gewicht der Welt (1977), Die Geschichte des Bleistifts (1982), Versuch über die Müdigkeit (1990), Versuch über die Jukebox (1990), Versuch über den geglückten Tag (1991) and Nachmittag eines Schriftstellers (1987). In the texts we meet with diary records (Gewicht and Geschichte) and more or less continuously narrated story (Versuche und Nachmittag). Autobiography as a genre cannot be clearly defined from relating genres such as diaries or memoirs - they usually differ by some signs. On the other hand, it can be said that all texts mentioned above contain autobiographical moments eventhough they vary formally. In the narration both the first and 87 the third person singular is used and some diary records make an impression as if the subject was missing entirely. Handke's books are not autobiographies of a type: I remember, In those days (though these can be also found in a particular form). They rather represent autobiographies of the author which contain a number of notes, ideas and reflections considering his life together with language, meaning they always think how to express the experience in words. Analysis poverty in the Czech republic

The aim of this work is the analysis of poverty in the Czech Republic. Based on structural genetic analysis was designed solutions for preventing poverty in the Czech Republic. Partial goals deal with explaining the reasons and causes of poverty and comparing poverty in the Czech Republic with poverty in selected European Union countries. Individual data were obtained from the Czech Statistical Office and Eurostat, other data were taken from the Labour Office of the Czech Republic, the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic, the exchange rate pages and media in the form of current information. Values are given in percent, euro and the Gini index. Selecting the EU countries was based on common characteristics of these states, and the neighboring states of the Czech Republic, countries with approximately the same population corresponding to the Czech Republic and the post-communist countries that are members of the European Union, excluding Germany, where the results are unmatched in other post-communist countries due to its unification. The results of structural genetic analysis showed that the Czech Republic is the least at risk of poverty and belongs between the countries with the highest employment rate and lowest unemployment rate, while the countries with the lowest income inequality in selected countries of the European Union. But the Czech Republic belongs between the countries with the lowest hourly and minimum wage after Romania and Bulgaria. The way to tackle poverty in the Czech Republic are enough suitable jobs in the labor market.
Analysis of income and expenditure inequality of households in the Czech Republic

This Bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of inequality of income and expenditure of households in the Czech Republic in 2008 - 2013. The objective is to evaluate the inequality of income and expenditure of households in the Czech Republic,the Czech Republic compared with other the European Union member states to determine the dependence between the Gini coefficient and selected macroeconomic indicators in the Czech Republic. As the main methods was used the Gini coefficient, Lorenz curve and correlation analysis. Data are obtained primarily from the Czech Statistical Office and Eurostat. The results show that the inequality of income and expenditure changed during that period. The highest income inequality was in 2008 and the highest spending inequality was in 2009, 2011. The Czech Republic belongs among the European Union states with low income inequality.

Bachelor's thesis is focused on draft of atlas of development area of microregion Budweis - north. Purpose of thesis is create concept of regional character atlas, which will demostrate socioeconomic and physicogeographical aspects of microregion, in comply with area development and needs of local administrations. Before own draft processing is attention focused to complex geographical analysis of area which provide major information about area condition and options of development which will be major source to create content of parts of atlas. Part of atlas draft will be several exemplary map lists.
