Laboratory Kit for Programmable Logic Demonstration
Svoboda, Stanislav ; Kubíček, Michal (referee) ; Kolouch, Jaromír (advisor)
This bachelor’s project deals with solutions of laboratory kit for teaching of work with CPLD curcuits which are made by company ALTERA. It is also including design of PCB - printed cirucit board and way of their realization. For construction is used circuit CPLD EPM 7064SLC44 made by ALTERA. Whole laboratory kit for Programable Logic Demonstration is designed as individual unit, which is capable to work as individual function. The kit can be amplified by connection of optional peripherals.
New Transforms for JPEG Format
Svoboda, Stanislav ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Bařina, David (advisor)
The discrete cosine transform (DCT) can be found in the heart of many image compression algorithms. Specifically, the JPEG format uses a lossy form of compression based on that transform. Since the standardization of the JPEG, many other transforms become practical in lossy data compression. This article aims to analyze the use of these transforms as the DCT replacement in the JPEG compression chain. Each transform is examined for different image datasets and subsequently compared to other transforms using the peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) and SSIM. Our experiments show that an overlapping variation of the DCT, the local cosine transform (LCT), overcame the original block-wise transform at low bitrates. At high bitrates, the discrete wavelet transform employing the Cohen-Daubechies-Feauveau 9/7 wavelet offers about the same compression performance as the DCT.
Maximum product spacings estimation
Svoboda, Stanislav ; Omelka, Marek (advisor) ; Antoch, Jaromír (referee)
In this thesis we study the maximum product spacing (MPS) estimation. First we shortly introduce the maximum likelihood (ML) method. Then, we explain the MPS me- thod in detail. Finally, in specific cases, we demonstrate how to derive the MPS estimation and compare it with the ML estimation. 1

Feasibility Study of Shooting Range for Tactical Shooting Training and Gun and Ammunition Store
Šára, Pavel ; Dvořák, Jiří (advisor) ; Svoboda, Stanislav (referee)
Main goal of diploma work "Feasibility Study of Shooting Range for Tactical Shooting and Gun and Ammunition Store" was discovered, if the project is realizable and in which conditions. Used methodology is text analysis mostly of laws, but also expert texts and publications. Next used methodology is collecting and evaluation of information, which relate with establishment and operation of a shooting range and gun shop, also with creation of a financial plan from different sources. The work closely engage in necessary factors for successful establishment of a shooting range and gun shop, feasibility study, investment and operational costs, incomes, balance sheet, profit and loss statement, basic financial indicators and cash flow. End of the work contains report of feasibility which is summarized benefits and threats of the project.
History and development accounting records
Hora, Michal ; Kovanicová, Dana (advisor) ; Zelenka, Vladimír (referee) ; Svoboda, Stanislav (referee)
The first chapter specifies accounting at the very outset, principal terms and factors relating to book-keeping methods, basics requirements for individual accounting forms, data creation, their development, techniques of accountings recordings in all their forms - without using writing, with using writing up to letterpress. Chapter two describes beginning of ancients nations, accounting development and expansion (Babylonit, Egypt, Crete, Izrael, Arabic nations, Phoenician nation, India. Characterization of development in old Greece and Rome includes separate chapters. The third chapter analyzes double-entry accounting development in Europe. Italian book-keeping and books of accounts have here a pivotal part. Particular subchapters are focused on advanced italian book-keepings forms in Germany, England and France. Chapter four solves computers issue in general and identifies instruments envelope from abakus till mechanical machines. Subsequent subchapter describes particular sorts of data carriers. Chapter five describes computers in individual generations -- their technical and technological parameters. Chapter six analyzes PC utilization for, impacts of using information and communication technologies in accounting. Is divided into two parts -- mechanization and automatization.. In the first part "Mechanization" are described individual machines, which were used. In the second part "Automatization" are described two basic data processing acesses. The last chapter describes demanding procees of selection of the right accounting software and determines individual selection criterions.
