Sladký, Michal ; Stroukal, Dominik (advisor) ; Chytilová, Helena (referee)
Today, Forex day-trading is more and more popular as a source of income (main and side). In this paper I prove that use of some basic risk management rules and technical analysis has positive effect on trader's profitability. First of all I define all technical terms, then I explain how I collect the data. I arranged two staged competition in real Forex trading with virtual balance. After that I analyse both stages (non-formally and econometrically) and I realize that there is some positive influence of risk management and technical analysis on trader's profitability. I found that execution of technical analysis and observance of defined rules of risk management rises the probability that trader executes profit by approximately 21 %.
