Annotations editor for WYSIWYG JavaScript-Based Text Editors

This master's thesis deals with analysis of plugins development possibilities for WYSIWYG JavaScript-based text editors (TinyMCE, CKEditor, NicEdit, jWYSIWYG) and it describes design of annotations editor as a plugin for chosen editors. Structured annotations editor was implemented for TinyMCE and it includes own user interface implementation without usage of any complex universal libraries. Gained pieces of knowledge from WYSIWYG editors analysis and annotations editor implementation are to be found in the enclosure.
Acquiring Thesauri from Wikipedia

This thesis deals with automatic acquiring thesauri from Wikipedia. It describes Wikipedia as a suitable data set for thesauri acquiring and also methods for computing semantic similarity of terms are described. The thesis also contains a description of concepts and implementation of the system for automatic thesauri acquiring. Finally, the implemented system is evaluated by the standard metrics, such as precision or recall.

This application allows users to view metadata RDF format found in text content and editing By using this functionality, we can see specific information about people, places or objects mentioned in the document and paste it directly into the document itself. Practical we can use this for more details information about the person used in text.

These task are: keeping of notes, events planning and work with electronic mail. This all in the easiest form so that the functionality could be used by mobile devices with internet access.
Genealogic Semantic Wiki

This thesis project is about possibilities of storing genealogic data in different formats and based on the results it suggests data format which can be used consequently as a source for the vizualization by semantic web. In the scope of the project there is a genealogic application implemented for KiWi platform. This application enable visualization of designed format using prefuse technology. There are basic and aslo some other usefull information about the basic technologies of the semantic web like RDF, XM, ontology, OWL language stated in the document.
Intelligent RSS Reader

The main goal was creation of an application that makes use of these services in order to download, treat and present required messages to user. The result of this work is full-valued RSS reader implemented in Java language which provides many interesting functions.
Card Games Platform over XMPP

This thesis includes a design of a universal platform for creation of any classic card game and it's implementation. Parts of this thesis are: a client as a jabbim plugin, a platform for creating a card game server, communication protocol built over XMPP, one card game ("mau mau"). This game shows the possibilities of the platform and the easiness of developing games.
XMPP Robot with Natural Language Interface

This bachelors thesis describes an XMPP robot which communicates using natural language. It works as an interface for various services, especially for providing information about train and bus connections. This robot allows people using Jabber network to get the information about implemented services the way which is natural for them, without the need of filling forms or remembering command formats.
Framework for Modular Swing Applications

Paper deals with framework design for modular GUI applications in Java, which uses ribbon. In the first part of the paper there are three frameworks for GUI application design introduced.  Then the applied components are characterized: the Flamingo (displays ribbon), JIDE component family (paper deals especially with JIDE Docking Framework for application panel management) and JBusyComponent (displays busy state of any component). This is followed by specification of OSGi, which is used for dynamic module startup. In the implementation part of the paper there is a description of the parts, the use of frameworks and the offered services.
