Title: Dietary regime of a softball team during a training camp Work objective: The aim of this work is to put together a menu corresponding with energetic and nutritional needs at a training camp for women agend 18 - 25 without specific nutritional preferences using SW FitLinie 5.82. Method: The method of indirect calorimetry was used for establishing the players'energetic needs. Average antropomotoric parameters of the softball players were put into the equation, and the reset was increased by the energy spent at everyday practice according to the corresponing tables. The ratio of basic nutriets (60 % carbohydrate, 25 % fat, 15 % protein) was kept. Sufficient consumption of carbohydrates efore each training session was also taken into account. Results: The daily energetic consumption was fulfilled by an average of 98,90 % which corresponds to approx. 13,725 kJ. The daily consumption according to nutrition needs was set to approx. 490 g of carbohydrate, 91 g of fat, and 122 g of protein. The average precision of carbohydrate intake during the whole training camp was 99,54 % (488 g), there was a slight excess in case of fat - 100,93 % (92 g), and finály the precision of protein was 97,51 % (119 g) for the whole week. Conclusions: The suggested diet corresponds with the needs of an organism for...
Effect of anxiety on the athlete's sports performance in flatwater canoeing
Andrlík, Jan ; Bílý, Milan (advisor) ; Süss, Vladimír (referee)
Title of diploma paper: Effect of anxiety on the athlete's sports performance in flatwater canoeing. Objectives: The aim of the study was to find out the values of competitive state anxiety and evaluate its influence on sports performance in a race. Methods: The questionnaire method CSAI-2 has been used to determine the values of the components of competitive state anxiety. The observed values were statistically compared with the standards of the best athletes and then analyzed with the performances of athletes in individual races. The dependence of the variable values was determined by correlation and regression analysis. Results: Flatwater kayakers and canoeists have higher cognitive and somatic anxiety and lower self- confidence compared to other athletes. In the test group flatwater kayakers, we managed to demonstrate that the higher the values of cognitive and somatic anxiety, the higher the negative effect on the athlete's sports performance. Higher values of self-confidence affect performance positively. The dependence of the variable values has been identified as medium to high at the 5% significance level. In the case of flatwater canoeists, this dependence has not been statistically proven. Self-confidence of the athlete is positively affected by higher age and experience. Keywords:...

Jedličková, Eva ; Matošková, Petra (advisor) ; Süss, Vladimír (referee)
Title: Interaction between a teacher and a student in the group-form method of teaching skiing Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to compare the interaction between the teacher and the student in the process of teachig skiing in the foreign ski schools. Methods: In our thesis we used the method of observation with utilization of categorial system according to the standardized method MADI (modificated analysis of didactic interaction). This method involves seven categories describing forms of behaviour of a teacher, didactic content of training, didactic situation and the postural activity. Results: The teachers' profiles were proved to be different, which was caused primarily by the amount of experience and partially by the gained education. The results showed that the main differences were manifested at the teacher number three who gained the shortest practices. This teacher diametrically differs in all examined categories from other teachers. Between the other two teachers there were found differences as well, but not essential. The teacher number three commited many didactitc faults. Some of his forms of behaviour, demonstration and action were not coherent with the process of learning so that they were not able to be analysed. Keywords: ADI, MADI, ski school, ski education

Major part of this phase is the translation and comprehensive review of English scientific literature on the topic. The result of this task is the translation of SIQ - Sport Imagery Questionnaire to the Czech Language, performing the measurements and their evaluation and comparison to previous results known from the USA. In total 95 golfers were tested and the main results are: 1) In general, reported values were smaller than in the US. 2) Both tendencies known from the US research were confirmed also for Czech golfers - imagery use decreases with age and increases with skill. 3) Czech players use imagery functions differently,...
