Hranice – redefinition of urban structure
Uherková, Ivona ; Ryšavá, Hana (referee) ; Ponešová, Barbora (advisor)
The diploma thesis Park and Ride deals with the design of a car park in the town of Hranice, which is known mainly for its important transport train node and Hranice Abyss. The city now suffers from the high intensity of car traffic in the city center due to insufficient street network. This network is disrupted by a four-lane road that was built in the 1980s and cut natural transport links. The abolition of the four-lane road, which is now lacking in transport services, releases a large amount of development area, which is primarily used as an agri-recreational area. Part of this green belt is the parking house, which prevents the entry of surplus cars into the city center. The parking house is a new transport hub of the city, which also includes elements of alternative transport - transfer to public transport or bicycle, which makes it possible to create a city center pleasant for pedestrians.

Foretník, Jan ; Prof.Ing.arch.Jilián Keppl,CSc. (referee) ; Gürtler, Ivan (referee) ; Petříčková, Monika (referee) ; Ryšavá, Hana (advisor)
The topic of this thesis is geometry, its practical usage in architect’s profession (especially its application in computer design and realization of buildings) and its current way of teaching at schools of architecture. The thesis systematically describes geometric objects’ construction and properties, its modelling in CAD systems and examples of its usage in architecture, in some cases including the way of its realization. Geometric objects are systematically organized into chapters about point, curves, surfaces and solids. The outcome of the thesis is a concept of geometry courses modification in the way that they encourage the spatial imagination development instead of “drill” and the gained knowledge is directly useful in architect’s profession. A supplementary research (in appendix) analyses the state-of-the-art of teaching of geometry at selected schools of architecture in Europe and its effect to spatial imagination development. The research was focused at contents and form of the selected geometry courses and its influence to spatial imagination.
Contemporary Slovenian Architecture
Šmídek, Petr ; Šlapeta, Vladimír (referee) ; Doc.PhDr.Petr Kratochvíl,CSc. (referee) ; Okamura, Osamu (referee) ; Ryšavá, Hana (advisor)
The main goal of this thesis is to present contemporary contemporary slovenian architectural scene to the Czech audience. Since the fall of Iron curtain is the slovenian architecture regarded as the most advanced from the former Eastern bloc. During the stay in Slovenia it's succeeded to collect sufficient informations for further analysis. Daily contact with the local culture and buildings helped in understanding of the current situation in the Slovenian architectural scene. The work provides the most important architectural works from Fabiani through Plečnik, Ravnikar, Podrecca to successors of generation Sixpack. The aim of this work is to help document and analyze the causes of Slovenia success and with this conclusion help to improve the situation in our country, where there is a wide range of high-quality buildings, but they remain almost unnoticed and unknown on the international scene. The study focused which role played the biggest importance in starting Slovenian model. Work search if it's possible to re-establish cooperation in the field of architecture. The aim of these was to find out how to apply the knowledge acquired in the Czech environment. Lessons from Slovenia could be summarized in two main areas: how to successfully cultivate their land and about how to be able to report about it externally.

Režná, Alena ; Keppl, Julián (referee) ; Ing.arch.Pavel Rada (referee) ; Peřinková, Martina (referee) ; Ryšavá, Hana (advisor)
Being concerned with the questions of housing is one of the priorities of each society. Housing develops with reference to traditions, geographical conditions and it is subject to economic level of a society. The aim of doctoral thesis is to analyze the approaches to architectonic dwelling production. This is based on investigation and analysis of the particular buildings in the chosen historical periods of society. The analysis of the dwelling architecture in individual historical periods of society development should contribute to clarification of the dwelling architecture conception, clarifying which urbanistic, functional and constructional approaches contribute to creating a well operating housing complex or dwelling-house. Thanks to the analysis and understanding the dwelling construction building-up of the last hundred years we can define the positive and negative principles of designing dwelling constructions proved with the benefit of hindsight. It is not the aim to solve the contemporary insufficiency in dwelling design simply by returning to principles which came into existence under different social, economic and technical circumstances. However, we can learn from those principles and try to employ them when answering the up-to-date problematic questions of housing. The principles should be contemporary, in accordance with present society and technical advance, local traditions and geographical givenness of the Czech Republic.
Jaroslavice – place in the landscape
Mrlíková, Markéta ; Ryšavá, Hana (referee) ; Foretník, Jan (advisor)
The goal of our projectis to „restart“ the Jaroslavice village. It was a well established settlement before the war, but has been on a downfall ever since. The problem began by eviction of german population after the war, followed by close distance to highly guarded border. This project is aiming on the possibility of living in the „ near border area and resumption of forgotten countryside. It proposes to connect old with new. The core of the project is renovation of majer near the castle. It is located on the edge of Jaroslavice and is connected to newly established part of the village. The site of the majer is becomming a connection point of history and present. Therefore, the object provides areas needed by students of newly designed high school. It includes accomodation, cafeteria and residental yard. It blends with additional areas of art centre nearby and is connected to the centre of village. Among the functions ths project provides, there is also a variable hall desired by village management.

The origin and evolutionary significance of triploid hybrids in diploid-tetraploid contact zone in Tripleurospermum inodorum
Ryšavá, Hana ; Čertner, Martin (advisor) ; Chrtek, Jindřich (referee)
The presence of triploid individuals, whether hybrids arising from crosses of diploid and tetraploid plants, or spontaneously generated triploid hybrids diploid populations, is increasingly important in plant populations. However, the possible evolutionary role of the triploid hybrids is closely connected to the frequency of their occurrence, to their relative fitness (compared to parental cytotype) and fertility. As a model plant I choosed Tripleurospermum inodorum, in which a relatively frequent occurrence of triploid hybrids was documented in mixed populations of tetraploids and diploids. This annual plant achieves realy quick its reproductive maturity and is easily cultivated, making it an ideal model for cultivation and pollinating experiments. Compared to parental cytotypes, the triploid hybrids of T. inodorum take approximately the same (mostly mediated) fitness values. In vitro conditions were cultivated to measure of germination rates. Germination rate of triploid seeds was comparable to diploid parental cytotype. In the subsequent comparative cultivation, nearly 150 plant individuals (2x, 3x, 4x, and aneuploid cytotype) in the greenhouse showed that the triploids had intermedial values of their parental cytotypes or close to one of the parents. Thus, the vitality of the triploid plants is...
