The aim of this thesis is the analysis of the current approaches to scheduling at BUT and other institutions of higher learning and the subsequent creation of a software for semiautomatic timetabling. The first part acts as an introduction to university timetabling problems, the analysis of the given problem and an overview of possible solving algorithms. The second part deals with the creation of the sofware itself and the implementation of the chosen heuristic method.

Modelling Languages for Optimization Problems

This bachelor thesis is concerned with the area of modeling and solving of optimization problems, mainly by the use of modeling languages. For the solving of two selected types of complex optimization problems, sensitivity analysis and multistage optimization, two original software solutions in Java using the GAMS modeling language, are described in the paper, which are further tested and applied to real problems. The thesis also describes the issue of parallelism which is implemented by the proposed programs.

The programming languages have always been a useful tool for sustainability and continuity of advancements in multilayered fields as like education and common industries. PHP is a widespread instrument which has an important place in this practices just like many other programming languages. This research is conducted to understand PHP language better and to increase academical familiarity about it. In the end of this practice a basic PHP library for further use has been produced as a representation of the research which has been conducted. This library allows the user to create multivariate basic graphs for visualization of variable different data and it’s hoped that it will be used by further educational and business purposes by various individuals.
Implementation of Sum Data Type in C++

Práce se zaobírá problematikou implementace součtového datového typu v jazyce C++. Nejprve navrhuje vlastní abstrakce pro manipulaci s posloupnostmi hodnot a typů, které následně umožňují vyjadřovat komplexní operace deklarativně. V průběhu implementace jsou prezentovány návrhové vzory obvyklé pro oblast metaprogramování. Implementace přichází s rozhodnutími odlišnými od referenční implementace. Pro manipulaci se součtovým typem jsou představeny dvě šablony funkce, lišící se sémantikou. Užití součtového typu je ukázano na příkladu konečného stavového automatu.
Debugging Class for php

The aim of this work is to create a tool that assists in developing and debugging PHP applications. It also provides an overview of how PHP handles errors and exceptions in a standard way. The result of this bachleor thesis is easy to use class that is easily extendable for additional functionality and contains all basic tools useful in development. This functions is nescessary because users should not view some detailed information about the error. Errors may contain sensitive information (especially passwords for the database, table structure,...). I am using this class in several projects and it seems to be very useful.

The main goal of this work is to present graphical development enviroment Irrlicht Engine and is develop a sample application focused on promotion of the Instutute of Automation and Computer Science and Faculty of Mechanical Engineering. The first chapter of this work is focused on history and the most important parts of developing 3D applications of Irrlicht Engine. The 3D applications development using available graphic tools is described in the second part of the thesis.
