Optimizing the ceramic tree mould taking into account the robotic shelling system
Petřík, Michal ; Šmatelka, František (referee) ; Horáček, Milan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the optimization of the design pattern assembly for robot shell making system. Six types of castings were selected for optimization in regard to increase the utilization of liquid metal. The individual castings are described in the chapters and in the subchapters are described the original design pattern assembly intended for manual shell making, the designed pattern assembly shell making system with subsequent evaluation for the use of molten metal yield. The following chapters described the benefits of changing the pattern assembly design, the defects caused by this change and recommendations that should rule out the possible occurrence of these defects. The last chapter deals with a modified plate weight test, which was created directly for the conditions of the company Alucast s.r.o., where the practical part was solved.
Making of movie figurine replica
Petřík, Michal ; Myška, Martin (referee) ; Janský, Vojtěch (advisor)
This thesis is focused on an overview of artistic casting in a form of chronological order of individual epochs in the mankind’s arts, in which artistic casting had occurred. Furthermore, a brief overview of materials used the most in artistic casting is added to this thesis. Practical part of this thesis is dedicated to various ways of production of a movie figurine replica based on a copy of children’s toy.
Manufacture of jewelry from nickel alloy
Zatloukalová, Hana ; Petřík, Michal (referee) ; Bořil, Petr (advisor)
The work is focused on the production of jewellery from nickel alloys using the method of lost wax casting. The theoretical part describes the general technologies and materials used for the production of jewellery. Subsequently, the thesis describes the individual stages of the investment casting technology, starting from the techniques for the production of the models to actual casting. The practical part compares the options of producing models by 3D printing with manual carving. Additionally is described the creating mold by a gypsum-based investnemt and a ceramic shell. For casting the jewellery was chosen nickel alloy monel.

Stability studies of monoclonal antibody nimotuzumab modified with chelator DOTA radiolabelled with lutetium-177 ([177Lu]Lu-hR3(p-SCN-Bn)DOTA)
Petřík, Michal ; Lázníčková, Alice (advisor) ; Kubíček, Vladimír (referee)
The higher expressivity of the gene for the receptor of epidermal growth factor (EGF) and consequently higher number of receptors (EGFR) on the surface of cells is closely linked with the tumour proliferation of these cells and with poor prognosis for patients. For such reason the EGFR became one of the main objectives in the therapy of tumours. Nimotuzumab (also known as h-R3) is humanized monoclonal antibody which blocks receptor for epidermal growth factor. The object of this thesis was to determinate radiochemical purity of this antibody conjugated with bifunctional chelator DOTA and marked by luthecium, possibly purification of this antibody and consequently determination of its stability in different environments. In acetate buffer pH = 7, in an environment of the surplus of competitive ligand EDTA and in plasma of rats. Adequate analytic methods were used for these tasks: high-efficiency liquid chromatography, gel permeation chromatography and chromatography on thin layer. The results of the thesis demonstrated that this way of modification for further radiolabelling is not appropriate for large protein structures such as Nimotuzumab
Cross-Border Public Procurement
Petřík, Michal ; Brodec, Jan (advisor) ; Dobiáš, Petr (referee)
The subject of this thesis (in line with its title) is the issue of the cross-border public procurement. In examining this issue in terms of the Czech Republic as an EU member state, it is clear that if a relevant cross-border (international, foreign) element appears in the domestic procurement proceedings, it will usually be a "European" element (EU international element). The Czech legal order takes such situations into account, as it is decisively determined by EU law. This thesis is divided into four parts. The first and shortest of them (Concept of Public Procurement) is rather a terminological remark in which attention is paid to the economic and legal definitions of public procurement. The second part (Public Procurement Law) is engaged in relevant legislation on public procurement at international, European and national law levels. The third part (Fundamental Principles of Public Procurement) deals with the fundamental principles upon which rests the EU (and hence also the domestic) legislation on public procurement. The fourth part (Selected Issues Associated with Foreign Supplier's Participation in Czech Procurement Proceedings) is focused specifically on the legal position of foreign suppliers in Czech procurement proceedings (under Act no. 137/2006 Coll. on Public Procurement).
Commented translation: Anne-Sophie Mutter
Petrík, Michal ; Žárská, Monika (advisor) ; Svoboda, Tomáš (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to create a functionally equivalent translation of the selected chapters of the book Anne-Sophie Mutter. Die Schönheit des Violinklanges, written by the German author Alfred Stenger. The thesis is divided into five parts. The first one is of a practical nature. It consists of a German-Czech translation. The remaining four parts are of a theoretical nature, i.e. a commentary. The second part presents a translation analysis based on the model of Christiane Nord from her book Textanalyse und Übersetzen. The next one focuses on a description of the used translation method and procedures. The fourth part deals with a typology of translation problems at different levels. The last part sums up translation shifts that occurred during the translation process.
