Design of cartridge spindle for turning machines
Žádník, Lubomír ; Tůma, Jiří (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the design of a built-in headstock of a turning center. The aim of the work is the design of a spindle for machines up to 10 kW. The spindle is driven by a two-speed gearbox and a belt drive. In the introduction, the work deals with the description of individual parts of the turning headstock. A design proposal is performed, accompanied by a number of technical calculations. The result of the work is a 3D model, drawing documentation and calculation report.
Design of spindle for a small lathe
Šatný, Patrik ; Tůma, Zdeněk (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
The thesis deals with the design of a headstock for a small lathe. The first part of the thesis deals with the description of individual structural nodes related to the construction of machine tools headstock. The second part includes an overview of similar machines available on the market. The final part deals with the calculation of necessary parameters, the verification of results using the finite element method and the construction of the proposed headstock. Based on the designed construction is created 3D model and drawing documentation.
3D FDM printer with built-in feeder of filament
Puchta, Daniel ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with mechanical design of FDM 3D printer with a built-in material feeder with monitoring of remaining material. The aim of this thesis is designing the FDM 3D printer with minimum print volume of 200x200x200 mm and with usage of measured data for optimising the 3D printing process. This 3D printer is targeted to the non-experienced users, so the emphasis was on ease of use and reliability of the printer. Despite the fact that it is an innovative design solution, the suitability of the design was verified experimentally as part of this thesis. The choice of the material feeder design, which is essential for the presented thesis, was justified by the realization of prototypes of two suitable designs, from which the optimal solution was chosen. The knowledge obtained from testing the prototypes was then used for the final design of 3D printer. The usage of data for optimization of the printing process is realized by a C++ compatible source code that is a part of this thesis.
Design of pneumatic cylinder testing equipment
Macek, Tomáš ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Tůma, Zdeněk (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design of test equipment for selected types of pneumatic cylinders. In the first, theoretical, part of the work is an analysis of the current state of knowledge in the field of pneumatic cylinders. Furthermore, the problems in the field of measurement and testing of pneumatic components are described here, selected linear position sensors are also described herein too. The second, practical, part deals with the choice of a suitable design variant and the actual solution of the test equipment design. A pneumatic circuit is also designed here. Part of the work is a 3D model of the test equipment and drawing documentation. The conclusion of the work is devoted to the overall evaluation of the work and recommendations for practice.
Design of spindle turning center
Krajča, Martin ; Knoflíček, Radek (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with the design of the headstock of a turning center. The aim of the work is the design solution of turning headstock with output of about 5 kW with the possibility of positioning in the C axis. The introductory part of this thesis is focused on the descripti-on of the basic parameters of the headstock and turning centers on the market. The next part deals with choice of cutting conditions and calculation of spindle parameters. These calculations are verified using the FEM method. Based on the calculations and design requirements, a headstock model with drawing documentation is created.
Design of CNC lathe milling head with adjustable tilt
Horák, Vítězslav ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Tůma, Jiří (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of CNC lathe milling head with B axis. Thesis includes research in CNC turning machines, their tool systems and overview of manufacturers of milling B axis. It also includes calculation of machining forces, design of spindle and design of B axis including necessary calculations. Part of this thesis is also 3D model and assembly drawing, 2 manufacturing drawings and list of items.
Design of threading head with automatic reversing
Žebrák, Matěj ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Tůma, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the design of reversing tapping head. The thesis is divided into two parts. First part is devoted to an overview of technologies for the thread producing focusing to tapping and research in field of tapping heads. Second part contains design of reversing tapping head including the necessary calculations.
Design of spindlespeeder
Závada, Otakar ; Pavlík, Jan (referee) ; Tůma, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with conceptual design of high speed spindle based on cutting conditions. Research part of thesis describe each types of high speed spindle based of their drive. Next chapter are documented cutting conditions which are corresponded with experience. High speed spindle faced these act most of the time. Cutting conditions show output conditions of planetary gearbox which is described in next part of thesis. All the experience are used in conceptual design. The drawings contains of assambly drawing and drawing of selected components. The drawings are based on model made in 3D CAD system
Design of station for PCV filter inspection
Tecl, Michal ; Huzlík, Rostislav (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with the design of a station for automatic visual inspection of the PCV valve filter. The PCV valve is part of the Common rail system, which is discussed in detail in the research part. Furthermore, the principle and capabilities of machine vision are described. In the practical part, several design variants are developed, which are further evaluated. Based on this evaluation, the most suitable variant is selected and then elaborated in detail.
Design of pneumatic - hydraulic press
Tůma, Vladimír ; Vetiška, Jan (referee) ; Pavlík, Jan (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to design a small pneumatic-hydraulic press for the widest possible workshop and car repair shop usage. The beginning of the paper is devoted to general facts and other useful information regarding the topic, the principles of hydraulics and a research of the current domestic as well as foreign market. In the main part of the paper, several possibilities of solutions as well as the design of the press itself with all required parameters including the computational and drawing documentation are discussed. The processes of production, assembly and overall commissioning of the machine are also incorporated in the paper.
